Amazing experience! We ordered my wife her first custom surfboard. Chris made the most beautiful board we had ever seen. He had great communication throughout the entire process. If you want quality and a locally hand-crafted surfboard, a Bauer Surfboard is what you need.

Chris made my surfboard better than expected, the edge and double concave in the tail were just as ordered and the twin keels he picked and glassed in are perfect!
I know my order was a challenge (thickness and width) but he put a soul into this board and is so much better than any words can describe..
I highly recommend his surfboards and he does it all from start to finish…. A true craftsman !

I have a few of custome surfboards made by Bauer. Chris builds all kinds of boards from start to finish, hand shapped, glassed, and sanded. He does amazing artwork with inlays laminates, tints, and airbrush. Chris has experience since the 90's working with the best in the industry. I will purchase from Bauer again in the future. He can and does make anything I want, and I know it will be quality.

Chris is a Rock Star! He builds incredible surfboards with great attention to detail. I went to Chris as I wanted a longboard to prone paddle on a bay near my home. He was easy to speak with and never made me feel like I should know more about surfing than the little that I did. In fact he was very understanding of what I was looking for and encouraging of my ideas. He helped design a great board that paddles like a dream and is everything I could have hoped for; and way more!
