I have been a member of Bay East Association of Realtors since 2001. The association has never been customer focused. I feel that they favor some members over others and not all members are treated with equal attention. They are especially poor at handling member disputes and are not fair in their handling of disputes. Their MLS service team is non-responsive to member issues regarding MLS access. They do not handle MLS access issues as an urgent priority. I had access down time and reported it to the board and the access was not restored for 2 days. Even after they assured me that it would be up and running in 15 minutes, the system was still not accessible for another 1.5 hours. I had to call repeatedly to remind them to look into my access. The lack of access had resulted in loss in productivity for me and near loss in a client. That is unacceptable for an association that is supposed to serve its members.

I would have to give higher marks to their computer and technical support team. They are very professional and do a great job in helping members with computer issues. Without good experience with the computer and technical support team, I would have given the association 1 star.

I came in there to purchase a lockbox and they limited me to one. When they had over 7+ in stock. And reached out to the manger the next day and told me all of them are sold out and sold over 5 less than 8 hours from the time I left. Very hard to believe that five individual agents will came in there less than eight hours from when I was there and bought five lockboxes individually. And would not let me purchase more than one after paying yearly member fees for an completely outdated MLS that feels like I'm using something out of 1990's and they treat me like this?
