We bought a pre-sale home with this builder early this year, the construction has been delayed for over 6 months and hasn't completed yet, we decided to retract from the contract due to their delay and they are required to refund the deposit money according to the contract. But they kept ghosting us and we had to hire a lawyer. We haven't got our money back yet and the battle continues....

This company's practices are deeply concerning and raise questions about their ethical standards. They acquire properties in the Central District and appear to leave them unattended without adequate security measures in place. Tragically, one of their properties recently suffered a devastating fire incident. These actions seem to pose a risk to the community, and it's important to explore whether they should be held responsible for their practices.

Beware of this company. We went under contract with BDR in March of 2021 for a home in the Greenbridge neighborhood that was still under construction. After 10 months of zero progress on the home and no updates, BDR essentially ghosted us, our agent and even the listing agent, providing no updates or responses to months of emails and calls. We ended up having to hire a lawyer and found out BDR had run out of money and had multiple complaints for unpaid work against them. We backed out of the house in January and they relisted the home immediately. However, the house is still unfinished and in exactly the same condition it was 14 months ago. Since we went under contract with BDR, the Seattle housing market exploded and we have since been priced out of the housing market and mortgage rates have gone back up. Not only did BDR cost us money in legal fees, but they set our dreams of homeownership back significantly.

My company provided recruiting services to BDR. They hired someone from us and refused to pay our fee. They do not return calls and we were forced to engage an attorney. I’ve owned a recruiting firm for almost twenty years and deal with hundreds of reputable construction companies and have never been treated this way. I find them to be shady business business people from the top of their organization down. Run don’t walk from them.

Great people, great environment and good group of people that helped me and my family greatly. I enjoyed Joanie on the phone and the front desk when we got there. Eric's positive vibes and attitude that is backed by his attention to detail of your thoughts, feelings and dreams. All around get it done type of company, with great results and astonishing products. Will recommend for life.

Hello everyone my name is miguel hernandez I am addressing all those who have small companies do not go to do any work for this company BDR
my company yires G construction did 2 projects, one for Roof and the other for siding, the price of the 2 projects was 60,000 and they only paid me 20,000 and in payments later they did not answer the phone anymore this was in May 2019

I invested in one of BDR's home flips. The project was delivered over 2 years late and I did not receive all of my principal back. I personally would not invest in one of their projects again.

I guess we aren't the only ones. We are a contractor that BDR isn't paying. They won't return our calls or messages.
