The actual unit and location was even nicer than the pictures shown on line. It was clean and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The check in process, which should have been relatively seamless, was less than desirable with incorrect passcodes to enter our unit and a lengthy delay in the text portal or customer service department to get back to us. There was an issue with the patchy wifi which made using the portal supplied through the app not ideal. I had to keep calling back just to get the door code to work. (all of this was occurring in the dark which was aggravating to say the least). In addition to the door code issue, the parking that was available for our unit was utilizing a lift. This was NOT shared with me prior to our arrival. We spent a good hour confirming this option, as the signage and customer service agent through the portal was unclear. The problem is that I have a large truck (too big for the lift ) that made the lift not accessible for us to park all week long. The maintenance technician agreed but had no suggestion as to where we should park. The customer service agent suggested parking on the street and checking our vehicle periodically which we had to do the complete visit. The sliding glass doors to the deck and beach were broken upon arrival (on a SAT around 4 PM). We were unable to use this feature; which is the biggest reason we rented this unit, until MONDAY mid morning. This did not deter us from having a wonderful trip and enjoying the unit, but it did start off our experience with a bad first impression. Overall the unit speaks for itself but the customer service was not great and could use some improvements.

A perfect spot in Oceanside for ocean lovers and novices alike. We gathered for our daughter’s wedding and it was fantastic to have everyone under one roof. We enjoyed walking to the pier and marina, but also appreciated no road between our place and the water. Magical location. Our only tip is to remember to lock your cars even when parked in the large garage as the side garage doors do not fully latch on their own. If one person neglects to pull the door shut, locals may poke around while you sleep. To credit of Beachfront Only, they installed a gate between the houses the next day to limit access. Would definitely return when back in town.

The first time staying in this new gorgeous condo. We had another place booked but had a problem with that one so they upgraded us to this beautiful place. The views were spectacular, you are right on the beach The beds were very comfortable and very nice bathrooms. It was very well stocked with everything you need for a wonderful stay.

If you love the sound of crashing waves right outside your front door, this might be the place for you. A perfect size for my wife and I, and comfortable for the few visitors we entertained. And, this satisfied my Hawaiian wife’s longing for her native beaches.

The BBB rating is an F. It's a well-earned F. The cancelation policy is ridiculous. I booked so far in advance and that was a mistake. They will not refund your deposit. It can only be applied to a future stay. The full amount of your stay is charged 90 days prior to your trip. The pet fee is the highest you'll find in any other rental and the additional fees that get tacked on at the end will make your head spin. The rates advertised are just a way to lure you in. It's not the real rate. But our first stay we were new parents who were tired and just needed to get out. We booked it without questioning. The second booking is my blunder. Had I found Marbella before making our second booking here, I wouldn't be writing this review. If you don't want to read on, just do yourself a favor and go to the Marbella. I won't get into every detail of the saga that was our recent experience. To sum it up, they had construction going on next to our unit with jackhammers they claimed to know nothing about even though this unit being worked on is one of their properties. We were livid and went to the office in person. They gave us the runaround about "going to bat with the owners" about a refund for us. Even though it's one owner. Everything is blamed on "the owners". It's one guy who has monopolized the rental market and alienated the locals. Look up Neighborhoods are for Neighbors. Locals aren't a fan of this company. We took them up on moving to another unit because we knew we weren't getting anything refunded. With our toddler, we moved mid trip to an "upgraded" unit. Bigger is not an upgrade when the bathroom smells like the sewer backed up, and the screen door almost impales your kid. Thank goodness we didn't use the top bunk. Screws sticking out. Broken fridge shelves. It's just not "luxury" even though the prices are. We were offered an additional night for our stay on the condition we wouldn't leave negative reviews. After one night in the new unit we just wanted to go home and came to the realization an additional night was not worth forfeiting our right to an honest review of this company. We ended up leaving an entire day earlier than our original booking so they still got more money out of us. Sensorship is one of the biggest issues in our country, and I'm sorry I just won't stay silent on this one if it means I can prevent another young family being taken advantage of by this company. After this trip, we have sworn off California as a whole. Which is such a shame since our trip at the Marbella just a few months prior was the absolute opposite of this experience. I can't say enough good things about Marbella. Great customer service. $50 pet fee. You can book on 3rd party platforms. Cancelation policy is great because they know they can fill the booking. The location can't be beat. The deck is amazing, the rooms are modern and well taken care of. There's complimentary water, coffee and commemorative mugs. Only thing Beachfront offers is tired looking properties and misspelled pantry labels 😆. For what you guys charge, you really should take more pride in your care for these properties and your customers. Are some crappy hotel coffee pods going to break the bank? Come on guys. Marbella is running circles around you. Downsize and do better.
