Quiet peaceful and serene. Just what I needed. Right next to a creek and surrounded by beautiful mountains. Hosts were absolutely amazing and friendly people. Loved it and would definitely go back.

Bear Creek cabins are cozy and comfortable, and the owners thought of every possible amenity. Secluded but only 10 minutes from Seward - beyond peaceful with a comfortable bed and soft fluffy blankets. Wish it would've stopped raining so we could enjoy the deck and the grill, but the surprise of salmon swimming upstream in Bear Creek was awesome. GPS wasn't a great help in finding it, and the signage could be improved, but once we found the cabins we were so very happy to be staying there. Added nice touch of having our name on a welcome card on the door to the cabin. Perfect for a relaxing getaway!

We were having a hard time finding a place to stay in Seward for a night, but thankfully found an opening at Bear Creek Cabins. Booking was very easy, and the hosts were incredibly nice. We were arriving late, but they called and made sure we did not get lost or need help on our way in. Everything in the cabin was neat and clean. The bed was comfortable. It was quiet, and the curtains kept it nice and dark even in June when the sun hardly sets. This cabin fit our needs exactly. We only stayed for one night, but I would have stayed here longer if our travels would have allowed us the time.

I loved my stay at Bear Creek Cabins. I traveled by myself and was in the furthest cabin that is a little separated from the other 3. I always felt safe and loved the peace and quiet. ||||The cabin I was in was perfect for 1 or 2 people and was so comfortable. I had everything I needed and it felt like home (if only home was in the woods with a creek running next to it) I stayed for 2 nights and with my busy schedule of activities I had planned in Seward I didn't get to spend enough time at the cabin. I would have loved to have been able to enjoy the cabin more and lounge on the front porch some. ||||I would definitely return and even recommended it to my cousin who will be following my Alaska itinerary this July.

Great value and great location. Our family of 4 stayed here recently for several nights and were very pleased with the cabin. We were just 10 minutes from Seward and even less to the Exit Glacier and it made the perfect location as a base for daily sightseeing. The cabin gave a nice, private and cozy feel. The hosts were very considerate to stock the refrigerator in the cabin with a few snacks. Definitely would recommend it over places in the town.

We stayed in cabin #2 and were very happy. The location is great as many little cabins are right off the highway, and this is tucked a little further back but not in the boonies. ||||When you drive in, the front is the owner's home, so don't get panicked about how it looks. (Wood storage) You drive past the home to 4 adorable little cabins with the creek nearby. ||||I loved the cabins and was very comfortable in the one we were in for the stay as well as the temperatures. We had a queen size bed with a twin bunk bed set-up. There was a little table, a fridge and a microwave. The bathroom is completely modern with a great shower. There is a little porch in the front of each cabin and they have places to sit out there are as well. (With ashtrays, though we don't smoke.) They also have a BBQ outside available for you to use.||||The creek was great. While we were there it was full of salmon, which meant tons of bald eagles and some visits by the bears looking for a meal. (They have plenty to eat, so just use common sense.) The salmon weir is close by, and it is cool to watch the salmon trying to go up-stream. ||||It is just on the outskirts of Seward. My husband did an all day fishing charter while I hiked at Exit Glacier. Our niece who lives in Alaska was able to get the day off to fish with my husband, with last minute notice, and Candy was great about letting her stay with us. {Extra guests are $15 per night} While on the note of Candy, she was great to work with from the beginning to check out. (She did have a stroke so her speech can be a bit slurry at times, but nothing that impedes working with her.) She had our reservation all out and ready for us on check-in making it fast and easy!

We had the opportunity to stay here a few days ago and I am so glad we did. we we're promptly greeted by the owner and e welcomed with open arms. The little cabin in the woods was private and the perfect size for our stay. The best of all was that it was clean(spotless) and the bed was comfy.||I would much rather stay at bear creek than any place in town..the cost was affordable and it was close enough to everything we needed.||We will be back!

This place is worth the mention. Cabins are located in the nature and you might even see a mouse. Log cabins are clean and beautiful. The family who owns the cabin lives close by and offers the breakfast option as well. Pancakes made from the freshly picked blueberries from their orchards was the highlight of our stay.
