Ben proved to be efficient, determined, organized and extremely personable to all parties involved. Despite having to navigate around several major obstacles, the sale went smoothly with Ben at the helm. When we sold another home a few months later there was no hesitation in re-hiring Ben for the job. Considered a rather precarious property by most, this sale had no shortage of challenges. Ben, however, was up to the task: Abiding to a diligent open house schedule, Ben shouldered the workload for us and eventually sold our home. Since then, we wholeheartedly recommend Ben to family and friends who are in the market. He is an extremely proficient real estate agent with excellent partners and resources at his disposal. We could not be happier about home buying and selling experiences in Carmel Valley with Ben. From a thorough report and market analysis on past and recent comparables, to fine tuning the price point to attract and find that sweet spot client or property.
Time and timing, a crucial commodity in today’s market experience can make or break a successful transaction. Ben was extremely timely in acquiring a thorough building inspection, easement research in the county archives, building permit reports from the county building department, and other due diligence that would precede a comprehensive and well thought out offer to purchase.
Most notably, Ben is always a pleasant encounter, responds promptly when contacted, and answers his phone.

Ben is exceptional! My husband and I just sold our home with Ben, and he made the entire process very easy for us to navigate. Ben is the whole Real Estate package. I've worked with him many times buying and selling and on both sides, a consummate professional. He actually listens to the client and is compassionate which is vital, as their are many factors and considerations involved in the often emotional process of buying or selling a property. He's very affable, easy to talk to and always accessible which is key as well. He goes above and beyond, works very well with other agents and goes out of his way to ensure that you feel you're in capable hands. We would like to thank Ben Ottmar for helping us through a difficult time in our lives.
