Overall, I really love living here. The apartment is renovated beautifully with great attention to detail. The manager and her husband are extremely kind and respond quickly to issues.
One thing I am not happy about is the lack of security cameras on the property. In the year that I have lived here, my car and others - all parked in the gated garage - have been broken into and the neighbor who parks right next to me has had his car stolen from the premises. There are zero cameras in any of the common areas including the garage. This is something ownership clearly needs to change.

When my husband and I first moved here everything was great now we have people letting their dogs poop in the court way, also throwing their dog poop bags in the trash can by the mailbox, some of them when they go walk their dog in the front of the building they do not pick up their dog poop, trash bags are being left out in front of the apartment instead of taking them to the trash dump causing all kinds of flies and nets, some people is going so far that they don't even put their trash inside the trash can they leave it outside the trash can, the laundry room do not have hot water so I cannot wash my white clothes there and I have to go to the laundromat in order to wash my clothes I would prefer to wash them here on site but the hot water is always turned off and I do not want my clothes dingy, Miss Maria tries her best to keep things under control but she cannot be around 24 hours a day and watch people but when she sees tenants doing things out of order she does let them know what they're doing is wrong and rectify the problem with them, other than that if we have issues in our apartment like things that needs to be fixed it's done in a timely manner we seem to get along with our neighbors as neighbors should. I've been living here at Corbin Terrace for the last eight years. The complex is always very well kept. Clean and well groomed... Elena the on site manager is the best! She goes the extra mile to accommodate our needs. The management has put in pretty good measures to help our complex security. Nice place to live!

Everything is great! All of the people who work here are the best and always pleasant to work with. I have some nice neighbors living near me and the others I meet are always nice to talk with.
In the office Joyce is really nice to talk to and is willing to take time to listen if I have any questions or a problem.

Maintenance issues always addressed in a timely manner with professional vendors, very clean property with weekly cleaning, close knit community of neighbors, property always maintained with upgrades. Gym clean with variety of equipment. Property Manager Robert is wonderful. Very personable, caring and quickly addresses safetyissues. Great location centrally located in LA and near a grocery store and CVS. Nice neighborhood. Always street parking available for guests. Working with corporate during COVID was good. They communicated well regarding concerns. Besides wishing the property had an elevator it's a great place to live.

Rare to have such an attentive and responsive property management team with the property manager living on site/close to the building all at a reasonably priced rent - in LA of all places! Berglas Garfield really puts tenants first and we have the best property manager with Haila Alkhaimas! Haila responds at all hours of the day even if it’s non-urgent and cannot appreciate her enough for all her efforts to make the community homey. Thanks, BG and Haila in particular!

I've lived in their building for nearly 9 years, & it wasn't until Covid hit did I see the owners shine with empathy & compassion facing the plight of their tenants. Danny's personable approach, & communication with sharing information on the rental programs was impeccable, timely, met with sincerity....not the usual response expected from one of LA's prominent residential real estate companies.
The building itself has gone through a few on site managers in the past several years, & the current one, is more focused on monitoring the tenants every move with security cameras placed around the building. It lends itself to an invasion of privacy, especially since she is anti-social, authoritative, & accusatory of the tenants for everything that may need repair. Her focus appears to be one of constant surveillance from her apt. Using a barrage of texts & letters threatening fines if tenants don't adhere to the rules. The endless reprimands dosen't make it a welcoming home.

I accidentally went to the car without my house key ring! I felt stupid. I had to call my Manager Nate. I believe it was even his day off. By the time we hung up, Nate was in front of me!!! Outstanding Job, and thank you so much!
