They manage our property and have been challenging to deal with. Communication has been poor. We were offered a deal to take a larger space before we were completely ready, but we were responsible for the labor cost of painting the large unit which more than ate up the savings. Later learned it was atypical for us to have done that in a unit that was empty for years and had wall damage. Deal cost more than them painting it and normal rent would have been due to unit size. In fact it was worse for us budget wise as it was all upfront cost. Moved a gym into the unit next to ours, knowing there were actual open areas in the ceiling between units. Then went on vacation. Expected us to wait a significant amount of time for him to address noise issues (since he wasn't available), even though the problem was VERY predictable (the gym had also been previously renting from him and other units nearby them had already complained about the noise) and he had control over the timing in relation to his availability.

We were looking to buy our first home in SE VT and I cannot say enough about our agent, Liz Lavogna. We were buying from out of state and she had recommendations for hotels and food ready. More importantly, after one weekend of looking at a variety of homes, she easily honed into my personal tastes and was able to send notes and links for specific listings that she knew I would like. It was very spot on and I appreciated how quickly she knew what I was looking for.

She was easy to communicate with via text and email, and was even willing to go to multiple open houses with us. She knows the area well and can guide you to houses in the right locations (we kept finding listings right off I-91 and she was great to point out we probably did not want to live next to the highway!), which is awesome if you aren't from Brattleboro.

Overall, such a great experience as a first time home buyer. If you are looking in Brattleboro, Halifax, Guilford, Newfane, Putney, and even further north in VT, please reach out to this agency and ask for Liz!

We lost thousands of dollars from grossly incompetent real estate buyers agent Jane who works there. She forwarded our private email exchanges directly to the seller, binding us in writing to an agreement we didn't even know we were making at the time. We did not end up with the house and lost a very large sum of earnest money. Do not do business with this company. They didn't even offer to compensate us after such blatant incompetence displayed by their staff.

My family recently worked with Thomas Dahlin to purchase our property in Newfane Vermont. I cannot emphasize enough what a pleasure it was to work with him. Thom went above and beyond to help acquaint us with the area, find us the right attorney, recommend contractors and caretakers, and push to make sure our purchase worked within our desired timeframe.
