Love this spot! I work nights and I always can count on a meal that is going to be delicious , as the kitchen is open until midnight EVERY DAY!
They have a new menu with absolutely delicious new dishes...COMPLIMENTS TO THE CHEF!!
I've been coming here from the " jump".
Staff is incredible..and owners are always present and kind and appreciate all who come!
ANDREA " DRE" is the best
Always smiling and remembers all the customers and ..even remembers my " allergies/ food preferences " also...my Favorite cocktail..

My baby shower was at BJ Ryan’s in the private room upstairs and it was perfect! Marissa was great to work with and the shower ran smoothly. She made sure we had plenty of food and got our preferences for how we wanted to set up the room with tablecloth colors etc. We did the appetizers option for the food, which was so fun and everything we chose was delicious. I especially loved the crab and corn fritters and the pulled pork/grit cakes. Definitely would recommend for an event!

Was in the neighborhood and was walking by and it smelled so good from the outside, we all decided to stop in for some lunch. This was exactly what we were looking for, a cozy feeling tavern with exposed brick and framed pictures lining the walls in this corner establishment. We were greeted and seated right away before it got busy. Our server was very nice and friendly. I had ordered the French Onion Soup (amazing flavor), the Buffalo Wings (fresh wings not frozen) and the Philly Cheesesteak and everything was delicious. Great spot!

Food is pretty good - had the veggie and marg pizza as well as the roasted brussel sprouts. The brussel sprouts were sooo goood, I wish the quantity was more! So glad to see they were open on Christmas/Christmas Eve! Really nice place and great staff!!

What a wonderful establishment! From the outside you are greeted by the old world Norwalk charm and continues on into the interior design. Wood trim, early twentieth century looking bar with modern touches, and a funky old floorplan that only exists in old cities.
We were greeted by a server who was incredibly friendly and had the overwhelming task of working the bar and waiting tables at lunch time. She handled it with ease and charm.
I ordered the BBQ rack of ribs which were absolutely amazing and gigantic! They came with a side of coleslaw, great, and shoestring fries, average fries. I would grab a rib and it would just slide out of the meat, now that's what I call tender. The ends were nice a crispy but moist inside. The BBQ sauce was unique and full of flavor.
My mother had the Cobb salad which was one of the best I have seen in years.
For dessert my mother had a cappuccino which she said was the best she ever had. We shared the ricotta cheesecake, if you are a true cheesecake aficionado you know ricotta makes the best cheesecake. This did not disappoint. It's probably been 15 years since I had one as good.

The worst place on Earth. The food is terrible, the service is awful, and the atmosphere is terrible. I have never experienced such an impudent attitude in any other dining establishment. Avoid this place if you value your mood.

We had a baby shower here. So amazing! Marissa is lovely to work with. Costs are reasonable and the food was all delicious and plentiful. We chose a selection of appetizers and they were all excellent- especially the corn and crab fritters and the pulled pork on grit cakes. I would definitely recommend BJ Ryan’s as an excellent choice for an event!
