Got recommended here by a friend. Solid place. Convenient facilities/utilities. Decent location, about 20 min walk to UC campus with multiple bus stations all around. The building is nicely managed with supportive staff. Decently-managed mailing system and amazon lockers. A nice roof top area and entertainment facilities on the first floor. Their policy is international student-friendly if this is your first time in the U.S. and don't yet have a credit record or bank account.

So, we've been living in Blake for about 2 years now, and we're really happy with it. It's a nice, modern apartment complex with everything you need. My favorite spot is the rooftop – they've got a BBQ area and a fireplace, and recently they added table tennis and a pool table, which is cool. Plus, they throw events and parties for us tenants sometimes, which is a nice touch.

The management here is top-notch. The maintenance crew is always around, 24/7, and they're quick to fix any issues. Shoutout to Manager Ruby, she's awesome. She really goes above and beyond to make sure everyone's happy. I've never had a manager care so much before. She treats us like family and sorts out any problems super fast. Blake at Berkeley is lucky to have her.

If you're looking for a chill place to live near downtown Berkeley, this is it. It's super convenient – you can walk to all the restaurants, bars, and shops nearby, and the Bart station is close too. Great choice if you ask me.

It’s been 4 months since we moved here. we are enjoying our new home. The apartment complex itself beautiful & luxury. The roof top garden with BBQ area is my favorite spot in the complex. Moreover, Blake at Berkeley has the best management team I ever had. They are very professional, friendly and always looking for ways to make your stay at Blake at Berkeley an amazing experience. The property manager Ruby is a kindhearted woman. She went above and beyond to help us on our utility bill issue. Also, They do have great Maintenance & Cleaning team who always take care of the building. If you looking for a quiet and happy place to live nearby downtown Berkeley, it is Blake at Berkeley! 🙂

Since moving to Berkeley for college, I have stayed at three different rental properties. Blake at Berkeley is the best by a landslide! The apartments themselves have a sleek modern design as well as updated appliances. Tenants are also given various amenities such as daily snacks, a recreational room, and a beautiful rooftop lounge!
The staff (I have personally spoken the most with Ruby and Cesar) is absolutely amazing. They do a wonderful job of instilling a sense of community within the complex with karaoke nights, dinners, and more! This is something that is really important to me but is often lacking from apartment buildings in the area! Thank you so much Blake at Berkeley, I wish I could live here forever!!!

This is by far the best complex I have ever lived in! The facilities and rooms are beautiful, there are so many amenities (i.e. dog bath, pool table/game room, rooftop lounge, etc.), and the staff are so incredibly kind and generous. You can really tell that the team cares about the building and residents. The community events (dinners provided by the Blake, karaoke nights, holiday celebrations, etc.) are so much fun and make the building really feel like a little family! It's also by far the safest place I've ever lived in as no packages have ever been stolen, key fobs are needed for the elevators, and there is a sense of community among residents. As a college student, this is an amazing place to live and my partner and I love Ruby, Cesar, and Kim so much!
