Sadly not a positive experience with this company. We recently took on a shop on a 10 year lease, was told the 'shell was ready to go and JUST needed a toilet plumbing in". Up until we had issues Sam & Joseph were excellent and responsive.
Once we go into the property, we found a host of hidden issues. The walls had been plastered over with the electrics covered in the process, the workmen had kindly left empty sockets with no wires for us, terrible workmanship. The main problematic issue was the toilet, they had fitted to waste at more than double the height as standard meaning that steps are now needed up to the toilet. Which for most people is fine, however I am disabled! They agreed it was poor, or should I say told us what they thought we wanted to hear to shut us up.
We managed to find a solution with our builder at the cost of an extra £10k in all, of which the landlord refused to accept responsibility for offering a pathetic 1m rent free period. Bearing in mind we need to rip new walls down to sort the mess left, build 2nd floors and enlist sanipumps!
Moral of the story is be EXTREMELY careful and do not take their word for anything - check even the most trivial of details because once you've signed their lease they don't care.
It is my opinion that the property we are stuck with for 10 years was fraudulently let and major points not mentioned and hidden.
Very disappointing because they were so helpful in the beggining. Whilst I do understand they can't act for the landlord, the lack of urgency in sorting this is ludicrous- we are currently at over a month now since raising issues. They need to check the properties they let and provide full disclosure and details to their clients. Likely saw the coots bank account and pound signs in their eyes.

We would not recommend this company based on the poor property we have been left with and the disappointment in time scales and lack of a decent resolution to the issues presented.
