I have been renting from Blue Dog Properties for one year. Lisa has been the best property manager I have ever had over a decade of renting in Richmond! She genuinely cares about renters’ well-being which is unfortunately rare these days. It is so nice to be seen as a person and not just a rent payment. I have only had one maintenance issue this year and it was promptly taken care of. I cannot recommend Blue Dog Properties enough. We will definitely come back to Blue Dog when we are ready to buy a house. Thank you Lisa!

I've rented from Blue Dog Properties in Richmond, VA for nearly two years and have had the most positive experience. Baker and Lisa are communicative and easy to work with. They are responsive to maintenance requests, care for their renters, and are very kind individuals. I would have zero hesitation renting from Blue Dog in the future, nor would I have any hesitation recommending friends to rent from them either.

Lisa & Baker at Blue Dog Properties have been fantastic to work with. Lisa made our move in transition so easy and was very easy to communicate with and answer any questions. Lisa makes sure to send out emails to give us a heads up or reminder regarding weather and local issues that may impact us, which is very appreciated. Definitely recommend!

Baker and the Blue Dog team have taken care of our rental property for a bit short of a decade. We know that we can trust Blue Dog to find and retain reliable tenants, quickly to fix issues that arise and use reliable contractors at fair rates. We appreciate the advice and expertise they have given us over the years. I can't imagine using anyone else to manage our rental.

We bought a home in 2023 that we planned to rent for a while before making it our home. I was a bit leery about being a landlord. I was referred to Blue Dog Properties as a company who could handle the entire process of getting the place ready to rent, searching for a tenant and managing everything once the tenant had moved in. Baker and Lisa have done a terrific job. They found us a really great tenant and have handled a number of small but pesky maintenance items for me. They have been very responsive whenever I have contacted them. I highly recommend them.
