Fabulous private relaxing home directly on the bay! Windows and light everywhere to relax while watching the tide move in and out, beautiful sunsets and so many interesting birds, wind surfers and kite surfers. We have stayed here many times and really enjoyed all the recent upgrades Erika has made. They’re exceptional! We love natural light, but the new roller blinds are wonderful for the few times we wanted to dim the sun, but not the view, while reading in the window. The kitchen is gourmet and well stocked with anything a chef would need, including lots of spices, oils and vinegars. We have already booked again, and plan on many more weeks at Birdwatch. Thank you Erika for sharing your home and the excellent service you, and Stephanie provide guests💜

We loved Birdwatch! it is located in a quiet area with unique views of the bay, which can become quite spectacular when the sun sets and the tides change. We enjoyed watching the large variety of birds from the deck, and also through the many windows in all of the rooms.

The house has all the amenities and is extremely comfortable. It is within walking distance of not only the beach but also a number of good restaurants, which is extremely convenient if you don’t feel like cooking. We have stayed at many different houses in Bodega Bay and Birdwatch is our favorite. Erika is a super host! Highly recommended!!

This is one of my favorite places. Has a gourmet kitchen and all you need is the food. The view couldn't be better a never ending panorama that shows the tide coming in and out. Watching the birds following this ebb and flow is so educational. The outside deck with table and umbrella is great for relaxing and watching. Bird calls mixed with the seals crying are soothing. You are far enough from any locals to be free of anything but nature and its sounds. We have been going there with friends for 5 years and it is what we look forward to every year. It truly is the highlight of our year. I can't praise it enough and we have been all over the world. Fine culinary delights, fine wine and great food. Life doesn't get better 🙂

Beautiful place. Must visit. We needed heavy jackets to bear the cold winds in Feb. Would love to catch a sunrise or sunset here one day. Place is close to little town Bodega Bay. The place has trails for walking/jogging. Even though it is quite a drive from valley (2 hrs), worth a visit.
