Our family stayed for 3 nights and we all wished it could have been a few nights longer. We were busy with a wedding and our wine tours and would have liked a day or two to use the kitchen for a dinner and sit by the pool and firepit more. This is the highest quality home rental i have ever seen, and i felt honored to live in this luxury for a long weekend. Absolutely gorgeous home!

Sunset escape
We truly did enjoy our stay here. The beds were comfy, nice little den to watch tv and the separate living area with the amazing ocean and sunset view made it exceptional. The location made it handy to explore beaches, come back make lunch and head out again. We would come again. Thank you for having us stay in your home.

Although this place is small, the design has made excellent use of the space. The kitchen is set up for actual stovetop cooking, with only a tiny microwave and toaster oven for those functions. The cottage is light and bright, and was cozy during january storms. The only reason i would knock off stars was that the furnishings were old and broken down. The dining chairs were rickety, the couch was just a big marshmallow without any support, and we rolled to the center of the mattress. After the first night, we went into santa rosa and bought a chair so i could at least sit and read without killing my back. Our dog was very happy watching the critters from the deck

We recently spent a few days in a vacation rental cottage in Bodega Bay and wanted to share our impressions.

First, about the pros.
The house was spacious, with a comfortable layout and great views from the windows. We especially appreciated the proximity to the beach and being able to enjoy nature. The kitchen appeared to be very decently stocked, and the house had TVs in every corner.

However, there were some obvious drawbacks.
The most significant drawback was the discrepancy between the description of the cottage and the reality. The house was stated as a 5-bedroom house, but the fifth bedroom, located next to the garage, is drastically inferior to the rest of the rooms. This created discomfort for those who were forced to be housed there and put them at a severe disadvantage to the other guests.

In fact, until the garage bedroom is seriously renovated, the cottage is a 4-bedroom cottage, and this should have been honestly stated in the description of the cottage.

The garage itself, which is used as a laundry room, leaves an unpleasant impression - it is just dirty.

In general, from the point of view of cleanliness, almost the whole house does not meet the usual standards, which are usually satisfied by any decent hotel: dirty curtains on the windows, sofas in the living room, balconies were not swept, etc.

House was great as well as location.
Very comfortable for our family of five. Nice to have the creek right outside the back porch as well as the fire pit and gas fireplace. Great location into downtown guerneville, hiking trails, as well as the pacific coast.

Our group was made up of two couples. Everyone enjoyed the home, indoor and outdoor amenities and location. Everything was spotless! Amenities were provided that we would have never expected like leather chairs around the ping pong table, beautiful books and an operating record player and records. We used them and loved them! The products provided in the bathroom, laundry and kitchen were first rate. Easy freeway access, easy access to healdsburg and windsor and local wineries. Can't say enough good stuff about this place. Looking forward to returning!

My husband and I found a jewel! Celebrated our wedding anniversary at this lovely home! Beautiful views from both floors. Right on the beach! Just steps to the ocean. Home is very clean, kitchen well appointed, and a BBQ to grill steaks on! Hiking trails, tide pools teaming with sea life just minutes away and awesome sunsets to marvel at! We highly recommend this home. Enjoy!
