Chuck Boggs was an absolute pleasure to work with, he and his staff, Michelle especially, made obtaining an appraisal so easy. They are very professional and prompt. I am selling a house for my Aunt's Estate and needed a quick turn around on the appraisal. They exceeded my expectations in every way and the appraisal, in my opinion, was very accurate from what I had researched with sold properties in our area. I would recommend Boggs and Associates to anyone needing an appraisal either for the sale of your property or for any other purpose.

Don't waste your time with this Company. Read more reviews. Yes reviews are here for a reason. Lack of communication is one of the big downfalls . Mr. Boggs was the one came out to my house , and in all honesty, he needs to give it up. Very poor work , I don't know if i would call it work. My neighbor told me later he was the one came to her house, and she said after that , Chase took him out of their list , if that's true I completely understand. Don't waste your time nor money . He didn't look nor listen I don't think he can hear well , didn't want to take his time to see nor hear all the upgrades . It was unbelievable how he marked my house down, from 13 years ago when the market price was down , the other company only had to do a drive-by . And there has been so many new upgrades it's unreal. I understand I won't never get near as much as I put into it . Where it is a small house , but he went somewhere and appraise small houses or had them , because I never seen them house before , but he didn't take his time to listen to all the upgrades , nor see them , my house is worth more than what I paid for it and he appraised it way less then what I paid 13 years ago. Warning don't go throught or go with this company. Yes I understand reviews are here for a reason.

We quickly found out that getting a fair appraisal on our home in the mountains of West Virginia was not easy to obtain but Chuck Boggs did just that. Boggs & Associates also did the appraisal for us when we sold our home in the town of Hurricane, WV. This appraisal was also fair and realistic. In both town and country, Chuck and his staff were courteous, kind, knowledgeable and professional. I would recommend Boggs & Associates to anyone.

I had heard before, 'Never use Boggs. Anyone else.' Add me to the list of people that will be saying 'Never use Boggs...' Completely unprofessional and complete lack of care for their customers. It's like they know that you have to have an appraisal to buy/sell, so they just don't care. Next time, I will be certain to let the bank know that they can use anyone BUT Boggs when we purchase our next property.

Absolutely terrible. Poor communication to say the least. Mr. Boggs initially reported no home on my property...even though it has been there for years and is next to the main road. Then upon his "second" visit to my property asked me for directions....I politely advised him that he was at the correct home...the same home he had already been to last week. Home buying is stressful and Boggs and Associates certainly makes things much worse.

NEVER CHOOSE THESE PEOPLE IF YOU CAN HELP IT, VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!!! They are the worst. On initial appraisal, I got the appraisal from them and it was the completely wrong house that the appraiser went to and appraised. After another week and a half almost two weeks I finally get the appraisal for the correct home but they appraiser mark private water when it clearly is not (water meter cover in front yard). So after a week or two trying to find someone to test the water since it was marked private, hard to find someone with covid going on, all of a sudden we don't need the inspect/test. NEVER CHOOSE THESE PEOPLE IF YOU CAN HELP IT, VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!!!

They gave me the worst service i was buying with a VA loan and they required it to be returned 10 days from time of acceptance of payment it took hime 20 days to send it in and still it was wrong he didnt complete the whole document because of his errors we missed christmas in our new home and now will miss new years original closing was the 15th. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!

Twice now I’ve had them appraise 2 different properties in 2 different years and then have appraised them 30 percent below market value. Horrible and unethical company. Don’t pay for their services unless they are the last company around.
