I had a great experience with the maintenance team at Bonita Cedars.The maintenance team are always quick to respond to my request and addressed the issue efficiently. Alan and Fransisco are alway professional, friendly, and made sure everything is in perfect working order before they leave. I really appreciate their hard work and dedication.

Rating is 4.5 but there is no half star

Maintenance- Had several apartments prior from North to South. They have the BEST maintenance. Reliable, timely, polite, communicates well, and delivers great customer service. We had fallen tree, flooding, and clogged drains etc, those were attended to immediately. You can tell work orders are taken seriously, and they’ve been consistent ever since.

Communication- there’s a team responsive via phone call and text message for miscellaneous inquiries and emergency repairs.

Cleanliness- they have a team that cleans surrounding areas. Would be nice if all neighbors pick up after their pets, there’s improvement though ever since reminder was sent.

Quietness/friendly- overall peaceful, very rarely had loud parties, only once in a span of 1+ year. Neighbors are cordial.

Surrounding- landscape meets standard. Floor plan is good, nice big front yard for 1st floor residents (perfect for pets and those with kids), lots of storage space (+garage), and sound proofing was well done.

Security- I don’t see one that’s why there’s missing 0.5 star. There seems to be issues on car theft, would be nice if there’s at least surveillance cameras. 3 incidents that we know so far since we moved. We bought gps tracker, steering wheel lock and car cam to reduce our risk. Situated in Bonita - still has low crime rate/low # sex offenders unlike nearby communities like Chula Vista and National City etc.

Recreation- there’s a pool that neighbors seem to enjoy, we haven’t tried it. Bonita has active residents, folks enjoy Rohr park and another park with splash pad near the Sweetwater reservoir.

Businesses- grocery stores Ralphs and Von’s coffee shops/restaurants are mins away. Conveniently located near 54 fwy.

School- there are few we liked with good ratings.

Overall enjoyed living in Bonita Cedar.

I strongly recommend anyone to come join us @ Bonita Cedarwood apts..all the office members are super nice, especially Sapphire, Machado , so make sure you ask for her, or if she's not available, any other front office members will be so Glad to help you, with anything you might need help with!

I lived here over 3+ years and the attentions I got when I need something repaired or other related apartment issues has been outstanding.
Five stars to both Sapphire (at the office) and to Allen (on-site maintenance) for their outstanding service. These are two very caring people who listens and does their jobs right (the first time).
