All of Monterey County history held here & details given by a very nice midlin' Sicilian man who is gracious & a long -time volunteer. Literally, a little house in the middle of a field. Covers history into early 1920's. Long-time local.

The staff there was so welcoming and friendly and lmao i apologies for laughing, I couldn't continue on with the fake nice comments about this place, because then I would be lying And I don't do that. The truth on my experience here was 1 star minimal, as soon as I spotted the place it was hard to tell if it was it because the parking lot was completely empty, I was wondering if it were closed but the entrance gate was open so that wasn't it. There was 1 cool WW1 tank I liked that the historical buildings were falling apart. NO RESTROOMS!!! No welcoming tour guide for information on anything about the place, I mean seriously the website was more informal. I hope they the staff, improves on their enthusiasm for greetings the visitors and or less racists and not to judge a book by it's cover, because I am sure they fear people who are interested in history but appear not to be interested lol. Thank you have a awesome day

The Boronda Adobe is a historical gem for the Salinas area & valley. The site history & artifacts are fascinating but staff is woefully short of funds to accomplish the needed preservation work required to make this a truly viable community resource for those interested in researching this part of CA.

Closed when we arrived, and a private residence. From what we could gather it looks like a neat site but requires prior notice for entry.
