I had the pleasure of working with Evan during my search for an apartment in Boston. Throughout the entire process, I came in contact with countless realtors, but Evan was the only one who really stuck out to me and made me feel like he had my best interests at heart. He not only respected the things I wanted in an apartment and sent me possible options over the course of several weeks, Evan also always picked up my calls when he was available and responded to my messages promptly. (I cannot say the same for realtors from other agencies.) Although we got rejected from both of the apartments we applied for, (by no fault of his,) Evan still made a lasting impression on me, hence this review. If you are looking for a realtor you can trust, a realtor who will put your best interest before theirs, Evan is the one to reach out to. 🙂

My roommates and I lived in one of their apartments and we genuinely couldn't have asked for a better experience. We felt respected and cared for as tenants (which is surprisingly rare for students in Boston). Management always promptly responded to our emails and service requests and maintained open communication about apartment tours, fire alarm inspections, and expectations for the apartment upon move-out.

My daughter sublet an apartment from a student for the second half of the school year. Everything about dealing with Evan and Marisa was very professional right from the beginning of the sublet experience. Once she moved in, the apartment itself was a wonderful oasis. It was in beautiful condition and having the landlords right downstairs was helpful if questions ever arose. They were always very friendly and helpful. This has been the best experience we have had so far in Boston with renting an apartment. We had Evan help us find an apartment for next year. He was quick to respond to our request and we signed with him for next year. Boston Preferred Properties is excellent to deal with.

I rented from BPP for 3 years and never had any issues. The original lease agreement was seamless and quick, and each year when I wanted to renew Larry and Marisa got the contract to me in a timely manner. The apartment was newly renovated before I moved in and Larry and Marisa included some nice high-tech touches. Would rent from them again!

I rented an apartment for two years and couldn’t have asked for a better team to manage the place! I never had issues with pests, for example, because they regularly brought a pest control person in to do preventative check-ups. When I had an issue with an appliance, they responded very quickly. The BPP folks—Larry, Marisa, and Evan—are friendly and trustworthy individuals. If you’re looking to live in Boston, you can’t go wrong with them!
