Came here with son for first time for annual troop overnight trip. Not usually an archery and gun person, but I enjoyed learning and experiencing both. The camp sites are nice, and the outdoor theater is cozy and amazing for such a place surrounded by dense redwood trees. The seating area near the kitchen is comfortable, and there are many fun activities run by the troop leaders.

I went here for a boy scouts putting, and it was great. I was here while there was smoke near the area, but not directly in it. This made for a great view of the surrounding hills. The reason we went on the outing was too rock climb, which was great. The hiking here is also very nice. I'd definitely recommend this spot if you're in the area.

I visited this place attending an Adventures Out basic survival class. This is a nice camp in the redwoods. Lots of trees. Flush toilets. Pretty cool.

Fantastic camp for scouts. My boys have loved coming here through the years. Wonderful that it's so close to the valley, but you certainly feel secluded while you're there.

Great place in the redwoods for scouts to learn bond and enjoy themselves. Currently the amphitheater is being rebuilt but the place itself is still very relaxed and fun. Their are a variety of activities here with include NyLT, Gold Rush and more. They have multiple bathrooms and showers with hot water.

BCSR is one of the Excellent Scout camps in the Bay Area. It is often used to host Wood Badge training courses with their well rounded facilities, from kitchen to Gilwell Circle to outback campsites.

Very nice camp close to San Jose area. Many improvements being worked on. Hopefully they will get the funding to finish everything soon. New Ranger is very friendly and helpful
