Marilyn was great and easy to work with when we bought our home in Ferndale last fall. We wanted a local, experienced, independent realtor, and we contacted Marilyn after reading other reviews here. Initially, we thought it would be several months before we were serious about buying - but between us being pretty well-prepared, Marilyn's help and expertise, and good (lucky?!) timing we made an offer on the second house we saw and closed less than three months after our first meeting with Marilyn. I recently had Marilyn help me with the purchase of a vacation home in Birch Bay, and it was great. I had a list of things I thought I would want to know about when we looked at homes and as we went along she pointed out some things not on my list. She also helped me know about the steps in the process and which party would be doing what and when.

She brought in a home inspector for us and was there during the inspection and made sure we understood what the inspector was looking at and looking for, as well as to understand what the inspector sees.

Once we had all the information we sat outside the home and enjoyed the beautiful day and talked it over. I felt comfortable with the home and the information and we came up with a starting offer. Closing occurred soon after.
