I loved the apartment so much! I'm just so unhappy that I had to move so soon. I wish I could live there again, it was like perfect for me and my family. No problems whatsoever. Thank you Jacqueline & Shawna

The community is quite at times, the street is wide open to public and strangers and homeless people coming in and out visitors driving through and parking in random spots, homeless people camping out in back of parking lots, criminals breaking into vehicles, property is unsupervised at night, no parking spots after 3PM, residents and visitors stand outside smoking marijuana in broad daylight, listening to music, expensive place to live with no sense of security or regards to community environment, police are here once a week for disputes and escorting visitors off the property. Loud music events at elhers community center every weekend and even less parking.

My wife and I lived here for almost 5 years. It was our very first home after we got married. Unlike other bad reviews here, we actually enjoyed our living in this apartment. We recently moved out and the only reason for that is because we needed more bedroom since we are about to have bigger family. Obviously, I couldn't give full five starts just because I don't even think anywhere else can be called such a PERFECT home, however, I cannot really think of any issues that made us regret choosing the place. The rooms are spacious, free gas utility, quiet surroundings (guess this will depend on specific unit), super close parking area to our unit so we didn't suffer bringing all our heavy groceries, and especially we did not even experience one single time dealing with bugs or cockroaches indoor. And more than anything, the management team's super friendly and nice. They will actually listen to your concern if you have one, and try their best to fix or always give help on what they can. Especially want to thank Shawna for that. My wife and I actually miss here after we moved to a new location so I'm pretty sure that tells a lot.

I'll share the good the bad and the ugly!

Pros: The area...it's close to everything. Knott's Berry Farm is down the street and every 4th of July you get a great fireworks show. Also Maintenance guys are super friendly they've been there for years. Management is okay too but they don't seem to last as they get swapped out every year.

Cons: They increase the rent at the end of your lease like clock-works. 0 upkeep to the interior of apartments, we've been there for 3 years and paint on wall has slowly been peeling off. Also seems to have some plumbing issues. They've repaired units that got flooded next to ours at least 4 times in one year. The Worst thing about these apartments is the walls which are super thin. You can hear everything neighbors do. Parking not the greatest you have to take your chances and park across the street at the City Parking and hopefully they don't give you a ticket. I've been lucky and have only got 4 tickets in the past 3 years...lol! Lastly for the price you pay for these apartments you would think they don't allow Section 8 but unfortunately they do.

The only good thing about the apartment is it is more spacious than any other apartments with similar category and maybe maintenance staff that are friendly and making sure everything is neat and clean. Now let me start with the bad things.

Security, since it is open community, a lot of homeless people at night try to salvage stuff from the dumpsters. Someone tried to cut my lock on the storage provided by the parking area. Luckily i was using a thick lock. Security officer was rarely seen around making rounds.

Neighbor, maybe i just got unlucky surrounded by neighbor who constantly smoking weed. Most if the time my apartment and outside area smells like weed. Some neighbor are always so loud, management allowed people to put dog on their little backyard and keep you awake at night with their barkings.

Management, the staff are friendly and professional, but the coorporate greed is too much. In 15 months of renting there, i had 3 rent increases. One from their year increase, two other increases for opting month to month lease after your initial long lease. So it's true like other reviewers said.

Security deposit, like others said as well, sont even expect any return. They will charge you for everything. The silly one was the painting. Whoever did their painting needs to be fired. Who used oil based painting indoor and over the old painting? Everything not dry and sticky when we first moved in. So we it's very easy to scratch or damage it since it sticks to everything. Wheb you move out, they will charge you painting. Hope they learned their mistake and not charge future resident for their own mistake.

So many other small things, i just dont have time to mention (i.e. broken outgoing mailbox, parking, etc) Anyway, if you are okay with these, then the place is okay place to live

I don't think they deserve any stars, my Daughter with her husband were leaving there for 11 months, with no kids, and no pets they're none smokers, or alcohol drinkers, and all the time they were walking in the apartment with no shoes, so the carpet was always clean, besides they took really good care of the old apartment, the kitchen cabinets some of the doors were on a really bad condition, when my daughter move in, the manager told her that because of the apartment was old, they were not going to charge her any damages from the kitchen cabinets because they were on a bad conditions already, the paint also was peeling, I guess the painter should sanding first on the walls then apply the new paint, and same kind of paint, not using oil base on the top of water base, or water base on the top of oil base, and they charged my daughter the new paint and charged to my daughter the old cabinets that were on a bad condition when she moved in when the painters do a crappie job, and the supposed manager make my daughter paid for a brand new carpet the supposed manager said that my daughter had to pay for 4 years of life from the carpet, because they changed the carpet, when she was arguing that the carpet life was 5 years, so the manager is there to steal people's money away, I can't believe that people like that act stealing poor people's money away, so that means that if every year she's having new tenants, she is going to charge 676 dlls to each tenant just from the carpet, so in 5 years she's stealing 3,380 dlls when carpet companies charge less than 800 dlls changing the carpet on a 1 bedroom apartment? when I asked her to show me the receipt from the carpet company to check if they really change the carpet she got nervous and didn't show me the receipt, when I asked her to provide me a number where I can call to claim for that, she gave me a none answering number, so there was no way to talk to anybody, NO WAY the manager is there to steal poor people's money away she have no respect and consideration for tenants THE ONLY THING SHE CARES IS TO STEAL PEOPLE'S MONEY AWAY ,, SHE'S A THIEF.
