We hired Emanuel for our bathroom and kitchen remodel and we're so glad we chose him and his team. Emanuel did a great job throughout the project giving us timelines of when different aspects of the project would take place, letting us know ahead of time what items needed to be available for installation when, and always gave frequent invoices and updates. For a family with two adults working full-time from home with two kids under the age of 5 all living downstairs through the duration of the project, he understood how important it was for us to have ample notification of noise issues as well as realistic timelines of when we could move back upstairs into our bedrooms. His quote was incredibly reasonably priced and as we went through and found different unanticipated aspects of the project that needed addressing (we ended up needing to completely gut our electrical knob and tubing) Emanuel gave us a great quote and was able to complete the additional work only adding a few weeks to the project.

The individuals he contracts out to do the tiling, wood floor installation, etc. were amazingly professional, talented and always prompt and very respectful/thoughtful. Whenever there were certain things that needed to be fixed (if the workers accidentally installed something slightly crooked or when a window got caulked closed by accident) all I had to do was text Emanuel a picture and they fixed it immediately and to the level of perfection I would expect.

In addition to his team making our house unbelievably gorgeous, he is just the nicest, calmest, most reasonable, predictable and all-around great person to work with. In the past I've hired contractors and found myself stressed out the entire process; however, with Emanuel he made a very stressful experience really enjoyable and manageable. I've already recommended him to friends, family and neighbors without reservation. Excited to work with him again in the future. Thanks so much Emanuel!

BuildMark completed a few projects for us including a kitchen remodel and whole-house electrical upgrade for our 100-year-oldish home. Emanuel and his team are very kind, courteous, realistic, responsive, and take a lot of pride in their work. Emanuel has a lot of experience working on homes and is wonderful with advice and helping to troubleshoot or brainstorm issues. I’m fairly particular 🙂 and can spend some time going back-and-forth with details and he was always very patient and understanding. Our house is beautiful thanks to his hard work. We love the kitchen, the interior painting, and appreciate that our electrical is upgraded and up to code. We are looking forward to working with him and his team again!

Emanuel was very lovely to work with! The project was completed in the expected time frame, the details were thoughtful (he matched the pattern of the wood floor with the rest of the house), and he was always helpful in answering questions as things progressed. It was nice to know that he had lots of experience with similar redesigns since we didn't have much experience with layout or details. He even helped out with some other difficulties we were having with our heater which wasn't a part of his project.

BuildMark completed a whole house remodel for us, and helped bring our 1960s house up to current energy and efficiency standards, as well as make it a wonderful and cozy space for our family. Emanuel and his team did excellent work from start to finish. Emanuel worked with us and our architects from the initial planning stage, and communicated effectively through the project.

He regularly communicated the construction progress, and was proactive about communicating any finish material needs & timelines, as well as any potential issues & conflicts that he could foresee.

Emanuel was also very responsive in helping address a few minor items that we noticed after moving in. It definitely shows that he takes prides in his work, and has a long term perspective for his work and his clients.

His crew worked hard and did an excellent job repairing the beams and fascia in the front of my house in the Kensington hills.
