This is in response to a "particular" review that was post about the Management and over all experience living in the Californian Mobile Home park . I've lived here for 6 years and have been through several different management teams and 2 different owners. I've never had any problems with any of them and the current team have always been reasonable and kind when dealing with me. I'm not saying perfection but always reasonable. We are often given opportunities to have meetings and voice our concerns and grievances. There is definitely no lack voice on a individual level and as a community as a whole. It is my belief the "particular" person walks a fine line of legal Libel . Not only that but it also effects the community as a whole's marketability. I guess all communities deal with at least one "KAREN" !

Nice park for seniors
Very quiet. I have found it a safe place to live. I have very nice neighbors who are always helpful and respectful of other residents
No loud noise or traffic! The managment has been professional at informing residence of upcoming projects or events. The owners are updating areas of the park to better serve the residents.

Beware beware beware. Do not buy in this park. One of the things I found out was that managers Etc worked on my mobile before they sold it to people before me. They didn't tell the previous owners nor did they tell me before I bought it. But I sure found out what happened later. They make rules that they don't even abide by themselves. They are obtrusive, harass mobile home owners and don't follow the law properly. These have been all my experiences and those of many of my neighbors. I have a very long report to file with housing of community and development. Lots and lots of not good things to share here. That is my opinion and my review and my constitutional right. Despite what these new managers think. They can't violate constitutional rights. Definitely speak to Neighbors and other residents here before you even think about buying here. Don't be regretful and pay more than you should when you don't know all the facts. They even have people doing stuff your mobile that aren't even managers. Like the manager's boyfriend. Unacceptable and against the law it's called vandalism. Its changed hands as of this month of October 2023. Again, renovations on places without permits or licensed contractors, new general partner is willing to bribe and lie to residents in order for us to pay for things that are the owners/new partners are responsible for. And when asked point blank who the partners were...he refused to answer.
They must disclose any work they've done to your mobile. Ask and get proof.
Talk to neighbors of property you are considering buying and definitely take heed.

This is nice senior park. However new owner's and management are trying to circumvent rent control. Their method and device is to label maintenance issues as Capital Improvements. In this manner they can add surcharges to the renters of the spaces. As the owner said to the rent to market levels. Disregarding fixed incomes

Please take considerable time to investigate any property you buy here. Owners/Mgt buy and renovate. Beware you have all disclosures…despite who says they’re selling for. Management has selective enforcement of rules and regulations dating back to 2007 and most don’t follow MRL (Mobilehome Residency Law) laws . Make sure all improvements have been performed and permitted by any licensed professional . Sadly this was a better community 7 years ago. Friendly, group events, neighborly communications…. Not so now, in my opinion,it has upset most residents and those whose rules get bent as selective enforcement… rude, unlawful actions and just plain bullying.

The old owners of the park lied to us they already had the park sold the new owner is one of the worst people in the world to ever run a park. He is trying to charge us to pay for things that the old owner said she was paying for , how can people get away with this. Now how can our city council let them get away with this , what kind of city council do we have? This is wrong.

My uncle lives here and management, the owners, and maintenance are very bad about fixing things.
The maintenance guy "is working at other parks today" or " is sick today" or some other excuse is what they tell him.
When he keeps calling them over and over about problems they told him he can move somewhere else.
