It’s just like Sage said, these apartments are incredibly expensive. With inflation all
Of them are. Over 2,000 per month to live here. And my unit is an older unit because I have lived here so long. My refrigerator stopped working and I had to wait 1 month and a half to get a replacement and I had to beg for them to just take one from a vacant unit to replace mine. Good thing it was winter time but I had to use a cooler for a month and a half and didn’t get reimbursed for any food that was lost. Also my dishwasher hasn’t worked in over a year and I put a work order in October and it wasn’t ever resolved. Recently resubmitted the work order and waiting on a resolution. My drier recently stopped out putting hot air, and I’m still waiting on that to be resolved. I just put in a work order a few days ago for that. What I find to be disappointing is them offering these prices off rent for new homes but what about the long term residents? All they get is their rent raised and no renovations to make up for the increased rent. The staff is kind, but again if someone is paying over $2000 per month to live here, repairs should be more immediate and older appliances replaced.

There's a few vocal dogs in the complex that can be pretty loud at times, but not too bad compared to some neighborhoods. Otherwise this community is amazing and I'm so glad we moved here. Pool has been a life saver in the crazy summer heat.

My family and I love callen apartment and also love the management team. They're so incredibly sweet, welcoming and very helpful! The apartment is extremely clean and quiet. I would highly recommend them!

dont even live there yet, and i am giving the Callen appartments a 5 star review! Tony the appartment manager has been extremely kind, professional, and has went above and beyond for me, helping me, any way he can to.be able to get the appartment home i applied for.I can not express enough how he brought a smile to my day, and warmed my heart with his kindness. He is the ONLY manager I have ever delt with that was this hardworking and kind.Thankyou Tony. I am looking forward to my new appartment and living at the Callen appartments!

The management office made applying and leasing very easy. When we were searching for apartments, the hospitality and willingness of the Callen staff was the sole reason we decided to apply. They were a tremendous help in making sure we got everything squared away to make sure we were able to move in. The community itself is fantastic - plenty of parking, gated, safe, and quiet.

Not actually a gated community, anyone can just walk through any of the many side “gates”. There is a small 3ft plastic picket fence that lines the entire property along HoH St and they are not made to be locked and never are. Because of this, anyone can walk through this community because it’s not gated to keep everyone out. This has become a large issue with feeling safe because of the homeless issue that is now growing in this part of Lacey. There are no cameras for security anywhere on the property and my car has been broken into twice.

I don't live in the apartments, only a neighbor. But having reached out many times for assistance with THEIR broken fence on our shared property line, I was continuously (over two years) told that it was my problem and not something I would receive help with. Rusty nails, gaps in the fence, and it is leaning on a tree to stay standing. As a mom with very small children and a large dog, all I was hoping for was assistance in keeping my space safe from intruders and safe for my children in their own back yard.

This apartment is not worth your money. They still haven’t given back my sisters deposit and she’s been moved out since april of 2022. gate is broken and was never fixed. Someone spray painted some sort of symbol on our neighbors car. My Brother in Laws car was broke into. Supposed to be gated but it’s not and so crime does happen. One of the leasing office ladies was really rude to me and was rude to other people i knew living in the complex. This place will take your money, it’s not worth it. I knew many people who lived at Callen and absolutely hated it. Also people don’t clean up after there dogs, so be aware of that. Lastly, parking is always full, you’ll have to walk very far, so if I were you i’d change your mind about living here or renting from here 🙂
