We moved in at the end of February 2022. They will tell you everything you want to hear before closing and then you are on your own. I could write for hours but their entire staff is totally incompetent and act like entitled teenagers. Our first sign of incompetency, was when we drove all the way from Chandler, and 10 miles and ten minutes before our walk through, they called to say the house was not ready. We went there anyway and it was a complete circus. They have a monopoly on the new construction housing market and they know it and flaunt it. After many conversations with the neighbors, they are all in the same boat and many just gave up. They will wear you down and if you live in the valley, they will blow you off, after you drive up, and finally you just give up. They told my neighbor, who could not drive her normal sedan into the garage because it bottomed out, that she should ask her rich husband to buy her a new car. They refused to fix it. The homeowners had some one come in and pull up all the pavers and redo the job correctly. I have asked them to write reviews but some have said they are concerned about retaliation. You get a sense of being bullied with some of their staff, so I understand. I have given them so many opportunities to address our problems and it just amazing how they deflect, change contacts and avoid you. Obviously the workers had little to no experience. For example, the trim on a bathroom door, next to a bedroom door is not at the same height. Basically off by an inch or two. The paint is the worst I have ever seen and the texture is inconsistent. The replacement windows have been sitting on the side of the house for a year. Paid extra for smooth walls and the are like 40 grit sandpaper. Drips everywhere. Dents in doors, homemade trim pieces that look like a 5 year old made them, Light switches in places I have never seen in any house in my life. Quartz Kitchen Island with stains all over it, Windows scratched and broken trim on the edges, driveway pavers sinking, entire sidewalk system in neighborhood falling apart, Exhaust vents on HVAC installed on the non sunny side/North side of the roof so they get blocked by snow and shut off your heating system during the coldest times, backyard fencing install up to a foot above grade level, front yard landscaping still not finished. One of the few times that somebody showed up to do paint touch up, these individuals just started slapping paint with a brush on interior entry walls that need to be rolled with rollers. I told them to leave but they didn't understand a word I said. Exterior paint inconsistent and variations in the colors. Water damage in master floor, shower door leaks and terrible drywall repair in garage from upstairs leak before move-in. We have had to sand all the tops of the doors upstairs because they would not shut. A house down the street that just sold, as a resale, had the entire roof replaced before they would purchase it from the original homeowner. Can't wait to find out what is probably wrong with every roof in the subdivision. I will follow-up her when I do find out. Where are the the building inspectors Greece?All expenses paid? You don't have many choices in the Peoples Republic of Flagstaff, so you might just have to buy a home from them but at least you have been warned.
