I've come here with my photography clients and with my family. Such a beautiful and easy place to walk/ hike with the most beautiful views of the coast. It's not easy to get down to the sand from here as the only path I found was very steep- but the view was amazing.

Beautiful views and easy trails unless you go down the bluffs to the beach. The trail along the bluff connects with Bates Beach and also the Seal Sanctuary. Good for bird watching and immersion in Nature. There are a set a of train tracks to cross to get to the bluffs, so be careful.

Perfect choice for someone who's just starting to walk for exercise. Super easy and beautiful hike/walk with an ocean breeze. Make your walk as long as you want c: (mine was 3 miles) Dogs allowed on leash. There were 2 seal pups when I went! ^_^ please be respectful of the seals and just quietly observe them. There's a nice man-made part of the trail that connects to the tar pits park and campground. On clear days, the channel islands are visible off the coast. It's one of my favorite places in the world to go when I need to take a deep breath and clear my mind.

This is a really pretty place to stop along the scenic coastal highway! It doesn’t take long to walk to the cliffs, and if you go there at sunset, you can get some incredible pictures. I always am extremely impressed by the California coastline, and this place takes the cake. Also be sure to go to the railroad tracks to get some nice photos as well! Be careful once you get to the cliffs - they are unstable and you could easily slip. Always be on the lookout!

Beautiful, serene walk on the beach. The walk from the bluffs to the beach will lead you to Rincon beach, from there you can access a different trail which runs along the train tracks back to the bluffs. But be careful as trains do pass there. One blew my hat off right off my head! The pictures posted were from a morning walk 830-930 am.
