My family has used Carter-Trent/Scott County Funeral Home for the deaths of my Mom (3 years ago) and my Father (last month). The personnel are friendly, courteous, willing to help and provide guidance to the family members in the preparation for the funeral. The selection of the casket, communication, and preparations were guided by the staff to provide what my Father wanted. The body of my Father was prepared as directed, even exceeding the family's expectations. The service and military funeral occurred without any issues. I can say that the staff of Carter-Trent/Scott County Funeral Home are, I believe, the best in this region, and I cannot recommend them more highly.

David Dotson and the staff at Scott co. Funeral Home were amazing to work with. They made the whole process so much easier and comforting. Their attention to detail and suggestions were excellent. They handled all the little things and went above and beyond. They showed us all options, even the less expensive ones. They are first class.

The entire staff was professional and compassionate during a difficult time in our grieving process. After speaking with the manager, you realized everything would indeed be ok.
