In the six+ years that my company has been a vendor of Castle Management, I consider Castle to be one of the best property management companies in the Bay Area. All of the portfolio managers and resident managers treat our service personnel and me with professional appreciation and respect, even when they need my company's services on very short notice. I also appreciate that Castle remains a locally-owned business. Many property management companies are owned by out-of-state entities that make communication and billing complicated and frustrating. Property managers sometimes have a thankless job, but Castle's good people perform consistently well, in my opinion. I have recommended Castle Management to customers of mine who are dissatisfied with their own property management companies.

Not tenant friendly, also when moving out they are deceptive in their expenses related to turning over units when moving out. Over-charging for ticky-tacky repairs among other things

It's always a difficult balance between owner and tenant needs and their service is always fair and exemplary. If you're thinking about renting with this property management company look elsewhere! They will try to find ANY way to get money out of you and are extremely deceitful. If I could give zero stars I would. I reached out to Tracy one month after move in about a small interior leak in the fridge they sent a appliance technician to come take a look he came for about 2minutes to tell me to unplug the fridge then left. I was never given a quote NOR estimate on this service call thats the first red flag. A month later i am blindly charged 200$ on top of my rent. I was never told I was going to be charged this service call by anyone. When i moved in i still have the paperwork the agent TRACY even put in the move in inspection that the refrigerator was in poor condition. The fridge had scratches on the outside and wasnt cleaned properly. There were many red flags I looked past Im writing this review to hopefully prevent something like this happening to anyone else.
