My girlfriend and I have rented from Castle Rock for almost a year and everything has been delightful. During the application process and lease signing they were prompt, flexible within reason, and fair. They are very knowledgeable about current housing laws which is refreshing compared to our previous landlords. They have been very quick about maintenance requests. Additionally, they have been open and responsive to additional requests we have made (whose details I won't go into) which I think was above and beyond. We would highly recommend renting from Castle Rock.

Worst realty group to have to work with. Got an apartment with them 2709 Channing way in Berkeley. Did not clean the apartment upon move in like the lease said. There was mold, dust, and a used toothbrush waiting for us. In the duration of the lease sent in maintenance requests that never got answered. Now moving out they are not responding to emails about getting our security deposit back that was $5,000! Keith even admitted to not reading our emails on an occasion when we were submitting our notice to move out. If I could give 0 stars I would. They don’t care about the cleanliness or potential health hazards that their property could be giving to renters.

Very good experience. Soon after I arrived in the US, I had no credit score to be presented to estate agencies and get a place to rent. Castle Rock trusted me and has always been very supportive since. Worked with them for 8 years, very responsive, no concerns.

I've rented from Castle Rock for eight years, in two different properties. They're reliable and extremely professional. Some places they manage are very nice, others less so, but in all cases I've gotten quick and efficient responses to every issue, which is all you can really ask for. Definitely recommend.

After confirming I wanted to apply to a property a few hours after touring it they decided to raise the price by $800 dollars. What an outrageous practice!! It is unfair, unethical and potentially illegal. I would recommend against doing business with Castle Rock Realty - very unprofessional

Seems like they don’t actually try to rent out the houses they are managing. Not great communication. I requested a viewing so many times but only got a maybe tomorrow response, and the was ghosted for a week. Doesn’t seem good for renters or owners.
