We recently went through the exciting, long, and stressful process of buying our very first home! We had the extreme pleasure of working with Charles Richardson at #1 Properties. To say the LEAST, Charles was extraordinary throughout the entire process from beginning to end and we feel very blessed to have worked with him.

We first met Charles at an open house several months before we were ever ready to buy. At that point in time, we were just browsing open houses to get a better idea of what we wanted. I am a planner and like to be organized ahead of time, so we did inform him at that time that we still needed to pay off debts and were looking to get pre-qualified in around the next 6 months or so. He was very friendly, gave us his card and took down our information. We had gone to some other open houses that day as well, and met other realtors who also provided us their cards.
Out of all the realtors we met that day, Charles was the only one we truly felt was invested in US, not just making another sale. He was very friendly, kind, informative, and ready to help on OUR time and terms. He was never pushy, always answered all of our questions, and was very patient with us. He would check in with us from time to time in those following months, making sure he would be ready to help us when the time came. It felt great to know we had someone ready to go when we were at that point!

Several months went by and we were getting more serious about home buying, but needed to still work on finishing off paying our debts and building credit. The market at this time was moving SO fast and homes were being listed and sold the same day. Even though we weren’t even pre-qualified yet, Charles was on the same page about us getting a good idea of what we want in our home so that we could move quickly and not have to miss out on our dream home! This was especially appealing to me, as we were ready to move ASAP once that time came. He was always ready to show us homes we wanted to see, was straight forward with everything and was on top of everything when it came to finding out information and contacting the seller’s realtors!

Once we found our dream home and were pre-qualified, everything went smoothly Charles went above and beyond for us! Not only did he do the normal things you’d expect a realtor to do, but he even came over a few times once we moved in that first day to help us out with some small home projects that we weren’t sure how to do. We also received nice letters and cards in the mail throughout the entire process from him, which made us feel truly cared for and appreciated! We invited him to our housewarming party recently and he showed up and got to meet all of our friends and family and see what we had done to our new home in that last month.

I couldn’t have asked for a better person to help us through this process! He truly was incredible in every way and always made us feel valued. We never once felt like he was unapproachable, pushy, or difficult to work with in any aspect, he was just the opposite! I HIGHLY recommend working with Charles at #1 Properties!! We aren’t looking to move anytime soon (or hopefully ever) since he did such a spot on job of helping us find our forever home! BUT, if we ever do move, he will definitely be the one we call again!!
