Beautiful little cabins on Discovery Bay. Very well appointed and equipped. If you go during the off-season, the price is quite reasonable. Very clean and "old-fashioned". Loved the "old time" microwave! Very comfortable bed. The small cabins have the basics but if you want to cook big meals, renting one of the bigger ones might be better. Beautiful views of Discovery Bay!

This place is pure magic! If it were up to us, we'd live out the rest of our days in Cabin 4. This was our second trip to CCBC, and we're already thinking of another trip. The hosts Jenn & Jeff are absolutely wonderful and have thought of everything when it comes to appointing the cabins. All we had to do was bring our clothes and our food and we were set! Our Corgi enjoyed numerous trips down to the private beach and laying out on the deck. The dog towels and sheets were such a great idea, and the treats for her were so thoughtful. Everyone came home well rested, happy, and sad that we couldn't just stay forever.

Such a special and surreally beautiful place! Jenn is so kind and accommodating, and took us on a personal tour of the property when we checked in. We stayed in Cabin 4 which has huge windows/sea views, gorgeous sunsets, and a deck perfect for stargazing (The night sky views are mind blowing!) The king bed is super comfy, and there is a kitchen with everything you might need, as well as board games and puzzles. Everything inside and out is lovingly cared for.

There is also a private beach with the prettiest little forest path leading up to it, and lots of seashells and cute birds and otters! You could honestly spend a whole trip on the property enjoying the views and taking walks along the beach. We adored our stay and will definitely be back next time we visit Port Townsend.

We stayed for 3 nights and are already wanting to go back. Cabin was spotless and everything we needed was provided plus more. Jenn and Jeff took very good care of us. We were in the Clubhouse which is a two bedroom. Stunning view. Used it as our base to go to North Beach, Seiku, Cape Flattery, Hurricane Ridge, Madison Falls, Railroad Park, Fort Wordon, and downtown Port Townsend. If you stay you too will not want to leave.......

My husband and I just returned from a brief stay at the clubhouse at Chevy Chase Cabins. The cabin was cozy and spotless with a well equipped kitchen and a very comfortable bed. The view of the water and Olympic Mountains was breathtaking. It was a peaceful and charming location yet close to Port Townsend.

This has been a wonderful place to stay. The amenities in the cabins have been perfect for our family (2 adults, 2 children under 7) and the kids have had a lot of fun exploring the grounds/going down to the beach. The owner is very friendly and helpful. The views are incredible and there is a definite sense of tranquility.
We have been really nervous about traveling during Covid, but it is very clear how seriously it is taken here with cleaning and mask wearing in public spaces. I appreciate that!

We have been trying to stay at Chevy Chase cabins for several years now, but they are usually completely booked, especially during the nice weather. The combo of a mild PNW late Fall + probably the effect of Covid led to the rare opportunity to book a stay at coveted Cabin #4. What I learned was: all the cabins are great! Now we cant wait to come back and try the others. The property itself is sprawling and stunning, with a variety of trees and shrubs that were particularly gorgeous in the late Fall. We saw eagles and tons of other interesting birds all day. The views are captivating, and the little walk down to the private beach is like taking a mini forest hike. The beach itself was completely empty when we were there. Our small, old, and almost completely blind dog had the time of her life exploring the beach and tentatively checking out the yard and our incredible deck. They took great Covid precautions and everything felt super c lean and safe. Jen (the owner) is very serious about all the Covid protocols and she is also an incredibly gracious host. The kitchen was extremely well-stocked but you could easily pick up food in Pt Townsend about 15 min away. We also biked to PT via the 8 mi bike trail up the road that goes through a forest; and hiked the Dungeness Spit which was stunning. Cant wait to return when the other facilities (pool, outdoors games) are back in use post-Covid.

We absolutely love Chevy Chase and have made an annual visit there the last three years. We love going and imagine we will keep up this tradition for many years to come! This is an amazing place to be able to bring your pup along on vacation, something that is hard to find! The private beach is beautiful and our dog loves romping through the waves. When the tide is out it’s a gorgeous and peaceful walk! The owners are incredibly kind and go out of their way to ensure a great experience. We’ve stayed in 3 of the cabins and each one is very clean, comfortable, and well stocked. I look forward to making many more memories here over the years as our tiny family grows!
