Message to the "OWNER" of Chico Real estate Management. Now I'm sure that the owner trys his best to put the right woman in charge of answering questions over the phone, unfortunately what a lot of employees will do is be on there very best behavior when the owner is around, and once he/ she is gone they start acting and treating tenants with little if any respect when speaking to them over the phone. It's to bad that I have to say this but the woman you have put to answer the questions over the phone is a very disrespectful woman who seems to enjoy to talk over you and won't let a person get a word in unless one has to raise there voice in order to get a word in to hear you, but when you do that she will say that you are being rude and then she will hang up the phone one you. That is very unprofessional!!.I really hope that the real owner gets this message and hopefully gets there employees in line, because I never realized how many bad reviews this company has? I never looked in to that because this was a surprise do to the fact that the previous owner was so kind and easy to talk to. I honestly can say that even though that lady gave me a hard time, I still pray for her.she obvious has some personal issues at home and is unfortunately bringing them and letting them go out towards the tenants who call with questions. Please look into this, thank you.

horrible management!! My apartment located at 1207 w sacramento was broken into many times. Management refused to do anything about it, and emergency services would take up to 3 days to reply!! They refused to speak to me about the break ins and would only communicate with one of the roommates. Last time I checked a lease is 4 people not 1 person. Not to mention the property owner broke into our house multiple times as well as our neighbors house. We were then made aware that it is something the property owner has been doing to past tenants as well. Stay safe and do not rent from this place ! Instead Rent from Entwood if you want a great management experience.

This place was the worst.
They will do anything to keep your deposits. Even if you have pictures of what you have done they do not care.
Please be aware when you move out be there so you will know what they are going to charge you for.
They say it doesn’t matter if you are there or not but from experience it does make a difference.
I was about to take them to court cause they were saying that I still owe them on top of my deposit.
And they lie about saying they had sent me a check the beginning of this month September but I did not received it.
I had to go pick it up and the lady C. stated that out of courtesy they were giving me more than I was suppose to
get.
Mind you that this place did not have a central air and one of the rooms is not properly insulated.
There are a lot of gaps that the air comes in and goes out. I had a lot of spiders and ants coming in etc….
I will post more info and photos later on the week.
I feel sorry for the people that moved in there because the air conditioning does not work well only if you stand in front of it.

I'm trying to contact someone who can help explain charges made to us and they told me to email them and someone can get back to me. I sent 3 emails and nothing. This is not the first time I emailed them. Plus rude superviser/manager.

I only began renting from them in April, and so far, so good. I feel terrible at having to ask for several things to be fixed, but the previous occupant had been in this unit forever, and some things just fell behind. The response to my needs have been addressed immediately, and I very much appreciate that. They only recently took over management of the property, and as stated, so far, so good. I really like it here and hope to maintain a good relationship with Sierra Chico Property Management as I never want to move again.

WORST PROPERTY MGT. IN TOWN. I'd give them a zero if we could. Un-professional, demoralizing and obstructive communication. Owner can't be accountable and blames tenants for everything on any review. Can't send an itemized deduction or explanation for why she kept entire security deposit, but sends threats of harassment and defamation to forwarding address just fine. From the initial roomate change request to questioning if carpet was beyond life expectancy or even professional cleaned with delay of moving in... the owners been nasty from the start to the end!

I own a multiple rentals in Chico and have dealt with many tenants.

A property managed by Chico Sierra Real Estate had homeless encampments in the driveway and blocking the alley that I live on.

When I called they said they would deal with it and when I called back for an update they hung up on me.

Probably the worst property management I've ever talked to.

I highly advise anyone looking for a property management to steer clear of this company.

This is the most terrible property management I've ever had experience with.

These guys steal people's money and keep telling you lies, not responsive at all, I waited almost one month for my application to get approve, I was wondering why It took so long then I called them and they said I need to provide another Co-signer because one of my co-signers didn't have a credit history of 5 years!! even though I provided 2 Co-signers. They could've let me know way earlier but they don't let you know about anything at all !!

I'm so upset about the experience that I had with these people I wish I could take them to court !
