This was by far, the worst rental experience I had ever had. Up until recently, I was planning to leave a somewhat positive review, despite their lack of professionalism, but all that has changed. When I first moved in, the apartment was filthy. Completely filthy. There was black mold & mildew all over the bathtub, the toilet was filthy, and the cupboards were sticky. My partner and I cleaned that place from top to bottom before moving in, including renting a Rug Doctor to clean the carpets. Apparently, they do not clean between tenants, but I assumed they were rented “as-is.” As time went on, they added incorrect charges to my account. One was for a water bill that was not mine, and another was for a repair of a cupboard door that fell off on its own. I did not damage it, or cause it to fall off. I was not even home when it happened. As far as the water bill, I have proof that it is not mine, which I have sent to them!! I understand that errors can happen, but I have reached out to them multiple times via text, phone, and email and this issue has not been addressed! They also double-charged my neighbor’s rent one month and caused her bank account to be overdrawn! Prior to moving out, they finally removed the water bill charge, but decided to charge me for other outrageous things so they did not have to give me all of my security deposit back. One was for not cleaning properly prior to leaving. I sent them videos of me cleaning that place from top to bottom, including the carpets, and reminded them of the state of the apartment BEFORE I moved in. Then, I mistakenly thought I had until closing time to return my keys, so I returned them at 4:00pm when they were supposed to be back by noon. They claimed they had already changed the locks and charged me for it! I know they could not have changed them that quickly! This company lacks professionalism, honesty, and integrity. I have NEVER had any problems from other rental companies as I am a positive and ethical tenant. Please think twice before renting from this company!

I provided my forwarding address upon move out in an email conversation with the company and they took me to small claims court for unpaid charges saying I didn't provide forwarding address. incompetent staff.

The team at CVPM are outstanding to rent from. Whether you're looking for a storage unit or home, they have you covered with many options for different budgets.

From the convenient online payment portal to the online maintenance request portal, the ease of managing your account is unmatched, in my opinion.

My favorite thing about this company is the people. They make renting from them enjoyable and that is something you just don't see these days.

Rude workers, deceptive company, dilapidated properties, slow maintenance turn-around, loud neighbors. They remind you of rent 24 hours before it's due but you'll be waiting weeks for repairs. Can't vote low enough. 1105 Bellevue avoid like the plague. Half "bedroom" (no door/separation from living space) is the only place to sleep in the apartment and it's right underneath the upstairs neighbor's living room. You'll be dealing with noise about 12 hours, daily. And that's besides the train noise from the tracks right next to the property. About 5-8 trains a day. Don't forget vagrants breaking in/passing through backyard (downtown right down the street). Have fun paying for baseboard heating in the crawlspace to keep your pipes from freezing cus there's literally zero insulation. Also be ready to have people constantly passing by your windows because your half of the yard is shared. Make sure you ask for window covers or blinds because I only got blinds for 4 of the 13 windows. At least you'll get plenty of natural light to make up for the lack of privacy! Listen, just go literally anywhere else. Either way, Good luck!

I am writing this review on behalf of my roommates and I. I want to say this company lacks professionalism but it is purely the lack of effort. When it came to trying to contact them, especially about important things like maintenance, billing, and payment questions they wouldn’t answer emails or phone calls and would only respond to texts. We were also charged incorrectly a couple of times. There was also an issue with one of the tenants in the apartment next to us at our apartment that would back into our side of the building (we visibly saw them do this 3 times) and would dent the siding and gutter. We informed the company and it seems that someone came to fix it but in the end we were charged for it. It also took TWO months for us to get our security deposit back and there were some charges on there that seemed a little ridiculous but it is what it is and we were all at least glad to get something back and never have to work with this company again.

This is terrible company. One star is too high but unfortunately there is no other option. The lack of professionalism, lack of skill, complete absence of any building knowledge, is beyond my ability to describe. They are a disappointment at every single solitary interaction. I would be here far too long trying to summarize the text, phone and email conversations with these people. It is so bad that when I look back over the communication, the way they have handled things, it is so bad I almost do not believe it myself, except for the fact I lived it. I am in constant disbelief that a group of people so collectively bad that their jobs have stayed in business.

If you have any other option, anything at all, you will deeply regret not taking it and involving yourself with this company.
