Chloe was THE. BEST. Not only is she completely knowledgeable about the ins and outs of the entire process, but she’s so down to earth, relatable, and honestly- my friend now!
Our home buying process wasn’t as straight forward as we wished it would have been, but Chloe was fighting in our corner the entire time. Once we were in the serious stages of the process, she made sure to point out issues she saw and follow up with whoever needed to be contacted, and then just completely took care of it.. And as a mom of 3, having someone just take care of it was so incredibly assuring. I’m sitting in my dream house, right now, because Chloe had our back the whole time. Chloe, I love you! My husband and I have relocated cross country twice. We’ve bought and sold many houses in the course of our careers. We are good judges of what to expect from a Realtor. I spent 40 years in Residential Real Estate working with great agents and my expectations are high when we engage agents to represent us.
We were wowed by our experience with Chloe Powell and Sherry Santmyer of Hunt Country Sotheby’s International Realty. This is a fast paced market. If a home is priced right and in good condition it sells quickly and if you aren’t informed you’ll miss out. From our first meeting and area orientation tour we were impressed by Chloe and Sherry’s market knowledge, constant communication and sense of urgency on our behalf. They identified our perfect property and we saw it on a FaceTime tour. We have a high level of trust in Chloe and Sherry and we made an offer having never set foot in the house.
Throughout the offer process they negotiated skillfully and kept our best interests at the forefront. Our offer (one of several) was accepted and I’m convinced it’s thanks to Chloe and Sherry’s negotiating skill.

Chloe was referred to us as we were looking to buy a home in West Virginia and she did not disappoint us. She kept us abreast of every transaction with the seller and their realtor. She was very accessible via text and email and responded very quickly and professionally. She was always on time to appointments to look at homes in West Virginia. The properties we were looking at were very rural and in the mountains, and she was prepared with her boots and sneakers every time to walk through the woods to look at property lines, etc. I would definitely recommend Chloe if you’re looking to buy a home in Virginia or West Virginia since she is licensed in both states. At settlement she got us a really nice gift, which we really appreciated. Definitely recommend Chloe to anyone looking for a home. She’s first class!!
