My husband and I would never recommend CNA Engineering.!!!
Our project, splitting a 1 1/2 acre piece into 3 lots, took six years to
complete.. A $5,500. initial contract turned into $25,900.! I would love to blame Sac. County for some of the delay but honestly, they kept telling us that CNA hadn't given them all the information they needed. The ball kept getting dropped constantly. When talking with Steve Norman, I kept having to ask him if we were talking about the same property!? After more than half way through, my husband actually realized (on his own) that if we would have adjusted the property line and made the road an easement, we could have saved us a lot of money and Fire Road regulations! (You would have thought they would be smart enough to have suggested this as an option.) No thought went into our project and No Communication!!! Good Luck to whomever wants to take them on and better yet, the good sense to use someone else!

10 to 15 years of working together. Prices have been great at the beginning and very fast and ethical. I can’t say the same now. I was given a proposal that had a “do not exceed amount” written so that the project would not go over a set amount that they proposed. Now they seem to think that was just a suggestion.
Top engineers left and started their own company.
The owner Steve is a great person but this is wrong. I went to another company and they charged me half.
Time to do the right thing CNA.
