Purchased a new VW from these folks and the experience was phenomenal 👍 Staff were very friendly, sales staff were not pushy, Finance Dept was very informative and not pushy and the Owners were even on site talking with the patrons. I haven't had a good experience like this at a dealership in a VERY long time. I recently purchased a VW Tiguan SE R LINE from this dealership and worked with salesman Oscar. Oscar was very helpful throughout the entire process and overall made it a wonderful experience.
I did experience a few set backs with the vehicle after I purchased it but they took care of everything needed and made sure to make things right. While my car was in service, I was put into a loan car and worked with the service advisor, Nicki. Nicki was exceptional and made sure to prioritize my vehicle and addressed all of my concerns. Overall I would recommend this dealership and greatly appreciate the service and communication I received from Oscar, Nicki, as well as the owner, Todd. I recently visited Coachella Valley Volkswagen for transmission service, and my experience was mixed. Unfortunately, there was no record of my appointment or the detailed information I had provided over the phone the previous day, which led to a frustrating start. Communication seemed to have broken down, leaving me feeling unacknowledged.
My service representative, Allen, handled my service but did not greet me, welcome me, or make any legitimate eye contact during our interaction. While he may be competent at his technical duties, his approach to customer service could use improvement. When I choose to spend a significant amount of money at a dealership, I expect a more personalized and professional level of care—something beyond the indifferent reception I might experience elsewhere.
On a more positive note, Greg, the service manager, stood out as a promising addition to the team. As someone new to his role, he demonstrated an attentiveness that gave me hope for an overall improvement in the dealership’s customer service. His efforts left me with a sense that things are moving in a better direction under his leadership.
In summary, while the technical service may be reliable, the overall customer experience at Coachella Valley Volkswagen left room for improvement. A stronger focus on communication and customer care would elevate the experience to match the expectations that come with dealership-level pricing.

We arrived at 10 am for our scheduled appointment. The staff greeted us immediately and were very friendly but they seemed to be a little confused about our appointment. Our appointment was for an oil change and new tire install with a suggested alignment, which we added to the service on arrival. They asked us what tires we ordered but I figured they should have had that info on our appointment file. We figured the service should take about 2-3 hours but it ended up being 5 hours. They provided a shuttle service into downtown which was nice and our drivers Ella and Stewart ( I hope I spelled the names correctly) were excellent. It was just a long day for what we thought was a small service. It would have been nice if we were advised ,when booking,, how long it would take. Maybe better communication at booking on how long the service would take. I’m not sure if they provide courtesy vehicles but that would also have been a nice option. We’re very happy with our new tires and our vehicle runs much nicer. Overall we like this dealership and will return for future service.
