Cheryl has been extremely responsive and helpful since the get-go. Upon arrival, we found a bottle of wine as a gift. The house is sparkling clean and has all my favorite amenities (including a hot tub, charcoal grill, wood fire pit, and natural gas fireplace). The view is unparalleled and the location is super convenient for a weekend getaway. We went hiking, played in the ocean, and tried a new clamchowder everyday. Cheryl even provided a list of dog-friendly establishments for us to try so that our golden doodle could tag along. I highly recommend this host and would love to stay again!

This is the perfect getaway. It is hard to find a home on the west side of Hwy 1 in this area, so the views are breathtaking. Even the views from the back side of the house/hot tub are beautiful. Beds are comfortable, the space is perfect for two couples, and the best part is you can bring your four legged family members! There is a beach steps away from the house, there is great food in town, and don’t forget to pick up bread and cheese in Freestone! You will not regret staying here!!!

Beautiful ocean front cottage! The view is spectacular every which way you turn. The back faces the ocean and the front faces the hills. Lots of seating to enjoy all. Completely gated which we appreciated as we had our dogs with us. Beach access one house over. Everything provided for comfortable cottage living. And Cheryl is extremely responsive if you have a question. Couldn’t have been any happier with our choice of vacation rental!

We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful coastal cottage. The pictures certainly do not do this place justice as it is difficult to capture the beauty of the dramatic coastline and intimate setting along highway 1. We were able to utilize both sides the expansive deck allowing for feeling of more livable space. The fire pit and BBQ overlooking the dramatic coastline and the kitchen and hot tub overlooking the rolling hills provides a very nice contrast for a perfect relaxing getaway!

Once again, we had an amazing time on our visit to Bodega Bay! Of course, the area is gorgeous, loads of beaches to explore and plenty of restaurants to choose from for take out. But I think one of the best parts of our stay was the beautiful house. This is the second time I’ve stayed at Cliffside Coastal Cottage (stayed for the first time last year) - it was just as I remembered it! The views are breathtaking anytime of the day. We began and ended our days with a fire in the outdoor fire pit taking, in the views in the morning or staring at the stars at night. We slept well on the comfortable beds, made dinner each night in the well- appointed kitchen and occasionally relaxed in the hot tub. We had a great time and can’t wait to go back next year!!

Coastal heaven is how I would describe this place!! The house is super cozy (fireplace inside / fire pit outside), pretty much all you need in a kitchen for cooking (and bbq outside) and the most incredible views on views on views! We spent hours just staring at the ocean and beautiful hills. If you’re looking for relaxation, this is your place! **Icing on the cake - the owner Cherly is outstanding! She provided us with so many great options from yummy seafood restaurants to local wineries, to dog friendly beaches and trails. She checked in on us to make everything sure was pleasant. Thank you for a much needed getaway! I highly recommend this place!
