This is such a wonderful home. My family and some friends stayed there recently and they have truly thought of everything. From the fabulous chocolates they leave that are to die for to their comfortable beds. We loved we could also charge our Tesla overnight to be able to go and explore the area. We will sure be back here when we come to visit Cambria again! Don’t hesitate book a stay now you won’t regret it. Kerrie and Greg are just wonderful and have thought of everything!!!

This was the best!! We had a staff retreat at this home and we all loved it! Beautiful home great location. The home was very clean, it felt like a model home, but super comfortable. Loved the deck right off the living room. It had BBQ, fire pit , so serene, view was the forest . The upstair bedroom had a door you could open for fresh air at night. There were phone charges by the beds, beds were super comfortable, clean comfy bedding . This is definitely a 10, I have rented many vacation homes and this home tops them all!!! We will be back!!! Lots of love and thought put into this home. Thank you for sharing your vacation home with us!

My wife and I stayed here at the end of Feb and truly enjoyed every aspect. This home is the most well-equipped and cleanest we have stayed in over the last 5 years. The kitchen has all necessary cooking and serving items and lots of spices, bathrooms are stocked with nice fluffy towels and pump soap/shampoo/conditioner and terrific shower heads. The rear deck offers a serene view, privacy and quiet along with lots of bird and tree squirrel activity thanks to the feeders installed on the rail. When we return to Cambria this will be our place to stay.

Absolutely fabulous! This place is beautiful ❤️ super clean, very very comfortable bedrooms (slept like a baby), kitchen was fully stocked, and the views from the back deck incredible! It felt like a scene out of a movie. Definitely would highly recommend

Coastal retreat Cambria is a wonderful place to stay on the central coast! It has everything you might need, fully equipped kitchen, bbq, fire pit, a wood burning fireplace indoors and the owners provided a log for us! Overall a really great stay, super comfortable, easy check in, super close to the beach, and great communication with the owners! I will definitely be coming back!

This is the perfect vacation home nestled in the woods near the quaint town of Cambria. For us, it was important that the home include a charger for our electric vehicle which is one reason we chose Coastal Retreat. The home itself is around 1600 comfortable square feet of what was clearly a custom build. The large spacious deck overlooks a woodsy ravine. The interior space is flooded with natural light from, what must be, 20 ft windows, and a soaring vaulted ceiling! We delighted in sitting in front of the oversized stone fireplace with sunlight flooding in from the massive windows overlooking the wooded ravine and large outdoor deck. Spacious stairs lead to a loft, the size of a small apartment, which has a stunning, unobtrusive view of the woods and ravine There’s a desk (if you need it) upstairs, and a large en suite bath with a soaking bathtub and walk in shower. We thoroughly enjoyed savoring our morning coffee on the secluded upstairs balcony which overlooks the woodsy front and side of the property. We saw deer roaming immediately outside the home near a pebbled path. We discovered this led to a large wooden deck set amongst the trees with yet another tranquil view of the ravine. Per the owners, the deck is now used for meditation, yoga etc., but they’re planning to install a hot tub (which we enthusiastically advocated for! ). The large upstairs also includes a walk-in closet the size of a small room that the hosts have thoughtfully designed for use as sleeping space, if needed, for smaller children. The large wraparound deck off the living room is at the back of the home with unobstructed views of a large wooded ravine. This is where we spent the bulk of our weeklong visit enjoying the fire pit, barbecue, and, importantly, the bird feeders (the birds we saw and heard added so much to the ambiance! ). The hosts provided so many thoughtful amenities we haven’t experienced before at other vacation homes. A bottle of wine, chocolates and jelly from local business owners were all unexpected bonuses. We dug into a fantastically detailed guestbook that has suggestions for virtually everything to know about and to do in the area such as nearby hikes through the woods to the ocean or a short walk/drive into Cambria. The owners are clearly “super hosts” for a reason and well seasoned in creating the perfect vacation experience. At the top of my my-haves at any vacation home is luxurious beds and bedding. I’m happy to share that I was so pleased with Coastal Retreat’s sleep experience that I asked the owners where I could order my own set of sheets and pillows! We found the hosts, Kerrie and Greg, to be quickly and warmly available as they checked in with us before and soon after arriving and immediately when we had a couple questions about the WiFi and fireplace. We can’t say enough about Coastal Retreat and have already discussed rebooking annually because this is now our favorite place to stay in Cambria. Highly, highly recommended!

Our family loved coastal retreat cambria, clean, cozy & welcoming.
The great room with windows looking out over the private peaceful canyon was so beautiful.
Very conveniently located close to everything but still very private with no neighbors. Extremely comfortable beds & luxury linens. Loved seeing deer & birds daily during our stay

Wow - this far exceeded our expectations! It is the most well-appointed home. You need not pack a thing besides your clothes. They have thought of absolutely everything and the downstairs bed is so comfortable. Be sure to have some time to sit on the deck and enjoy the gorgeous view. We will most definitely stay here again.
