My brother and I inherited my parent’s commercial building in Burlingame, California when my Dad died. At my father's request before he passed away, we rented the building to his long term tenant. Several years later my brother passed away, and his heir, my niece and I decided to sell the building. This was a difficult chore because we knew nothing about commercial real estate. It also didn't help that I live in Chicago, two thousand miles away. A friend recommended that we hire a real estate broker, not a real estate salesman.

During a trip to California, we were lucky enough to find Andrew Peceimer, a Senior Commercial Real Estate Advisor, with Caldwell Banker of Burlingame. We met with Andrew and his associate Ryan Marrs. My niece and I had planned to interview several brokers during my trip but once we met Andrew and Ryan, our search was over. We were blown away by Andrew's long term connections in the Burlingame area and his proven successful sales track. Andrew and Ryan are a great team.

Throughout the entire sales process, Andrew was responsive and knowledgeable. We didn't have a clue what my Dad"s business was worth. He priced our building based on the real estate market and brought us many qualified buyers. Because it was a long term commercial property that had an auto repair tenant, most of the potential buyers were concerned about the potential for soil contamination. Andrew knew contractors who could evaluate the soil quality.

Our long term tenant was not pleased that we were selling the property. Ryan always "bit the bullet" and handled many meetings with the renter giving him mostly bad news about drillings or other inconveniences. Ryan did so with no complaints, which we sincerely appreciate.

Andrew was extremely patient with our questions, concerns and uncertainties while quick to keep us informed about showings and interested buyers. He provided wonderful insight and advise. If he didn't know something right away, he knew how to find it out. He was trustworthy and hard working. We thoroughly enjoyed his friendly demeanor and good sense of humor.

Selling our families legacy was a difficult task and was very intimidating. We would recommend Andrew to help anyone sell their property with confidence.

Do not give any business to this company when owing you money they Don't respond or make you go through hoops. They rather see you starving and homeless with a baby then reimburse any money owed to you by them or landlord. As well as try to get into personal utility accounts of your for what ever property you lease from them .
