We were approaching retirement and the kids had moved out, so it was time to downsize the house and get rid of walking those second floor stairs every day. The plan was to sell our current house first so we started a search for a realtor to help with that transaction and continue to look for that new retirement home. We had heard good things about Layne at Country Pride Realty, so we set up an initial meeting and never looked back. She was great to work with, from a selling and buying perspective. She pulled the appropriate comps together to price our current house and it sold within 2 weeks (very near the asking price). Then covid hit and our two year struggle to find the right house at the right price began. People were paying outrageous amounts over the asking prices which were already inflated due to market conditions at that time. We must have looked at 25 different homes over that period and Layne was with us at every one, always with our interests in mind and never rushing to an offer. Her attention to detail and patience helped us find just the right home at the right price and worked with the builder to ensure we received our retirement dream. Over that time Layne became much more of a friend than a realtor, and we couldn’t have been happier with our choice to use the services of Country Pride Realty.

Lori sold my property and now was my buying realtor for my new home. Again she was amazing. In this market where it’s hard to win the deal, we met, took time to strategize, evaluated comps and had discussions with the selling realtor. We ended up getting the property due to her excellent and experienced process. She does not rush and throughly thinks through the best option. I would highly recommend Lori as your selling and buying realtor.
