Listen, you won’t find a better company than Custom Caretaking. It starts from the top and when you have an owner as good, kind and generous as he is, it shows in the staff that support this man and his business. We would use no one else. Top notch!

We called Custom Caretaking to order 8 yards of topsoil and a few days later we stopped in and ordered an addtl 5. We were assured it was no problem. We'd be the first job of the day at 7:30am. We asked for a little more time since the person we hired wasn't arriving until later. We called that morning to double check at 10 and were told it would be noon. Called at noon and they said it would be 2 more hours. Our hired contractors went to work on another job. The topsoil finally got delivered. Our contractors came back later that night and were in shock. They said we only had about 8 yards at the most. It was now after hours so we had to go ahead with what we had and spread it super thin. We recd a phone call back today stating that their driver measured it out and definitely gave us 13 yards. I appreciate how they support their crew but the right thing to do was send someone over to look at our lawn (we are right next door!) and talk to us in person...and offer a refund. We were told not to use them due to cost, but their prices were actually less than others in the area. BUYER BEWARE!

UPDATE - The owner Brad did call us the very next day. We had a great conversation and he personally came over to look at the work. He agreed that we did not receive what we ordered and provided us a refund. We truly appreciated his follow up.

These guys are very efficient and if things aren't done to your liking, all you have to do is call them and they will fix it promptly and perfectly

I took my boat an ‘89 master craft to get buffed!! I paid for storage, winterizjng, and summarizing because I wanted to get the color back!! That was the only reason it was there!!! I paid $1100 and the boat didn’t get buffed!! Not only that I have a big scratch on the side of my boat!!! And the lost my boat guid polls from my trailer!!! I also paid a $100 for them to pick up the boat when they told me not to drop it off because I’ve wanted to put it in last so he could get to it so he could buff it!! They just laughed at me about the whole thing!!

I can't comment on the quality of their landscaping work because I wasn't even able to get them to come out for an estimate for a new lawn. I called them in spring of last year to request a quote and was told they were too busy to come out until the fall and that I should call back then. So I called back in early September and was told they weren't doing any more estimates for the year but that I'd be put on a waiting list for this spring and that they'd call me to schedule an appointment as soon as weather permitted. It's now May 8 and I hadn't heard a thing. I called today to schedule a quote and reminded them I was on a call list from last fall. I was told I was still on their list but the first available appointment for someone to look at my job would be more than seven weeks from now on June 29, which would be nearly ten months after I was put on the call list! Even if I were to hire them, by that time the work certainly wouldn’t begin until the heat of the summer at best, well past the seeding season. So that would mean waiting until fall and going another full year without lawn. If I can't get someone to even come out and look at the job after three attempts and a year of waiting since my first call, I can only imagine the type of customer care I'd receive if I were to actually hire these folks. Don't bother calling unless you're a big fan of long waits and broken promises. Unfortunately, there is no zero star or negative star rating, so I needed to give them one star in order to post this.

We recently moved to the area and was referred to Custom Caretaking by another local business. Called for a quote and it took over a month to be scheduled in (which I was ok with given the current market). Gentleman stopped out, I explained our needs and he confirmed my contact info and said he would email us his suggestions and quote. We received nothing back. A few weeks later, I follow up with a phone call to the office and they cant locate my info and said she would have to call back. Never received a call back, never received a quote. Very poor customer experience.

I received a quote and a bill for the removal of 2 trees. I paid the bill in full immediately. It took weeks for them to come start the project. I waited patiently because I understand how busy summer is. Two weeks after the job was completed I received another bill stating that they made a mistake and I owed them almost another $500.00. Being an honest person I paid the bill, in hindsight I wish I had not paid the additional funds. So beware... estimates and paid in full mean nothing to this company.

Brad says what he does and does what he says... I've been doing business with Brad for 8+ years now and he's a guy you can always depend on to make your life simple.

Remember, everyone can make promises BEFORE they start the job but when you go with Brad, you know you'll get exactly what he promised and usually a bit or two more!
