Definitely Very Unprofessional! I toured a property with chuck he gave me a business card to apply online. I applied that same day and even got a email saying my credit had been ran by them. Which I met all of the requirements I called the office and haven’t gotten a call back since. I paid a $50 application fee and haven’t heard if I was approved or denied or anything. Please do yourself a favor and take your money else where if possible. Even when I was touring the place chuck didn’t seem to be impressed by skin color when I got out of my vehicle to meet him if that makes sense. Stay away from this company!

Davis Realty is by far one of the best Realty companies I have ever worked with. Chuck and team treat every tenant with high regard and we are super thankful that we had the opportunity to work with them. If I ever move back to the area, I will definitely be reaching out to Davis Realty. Can't say enough about their team!

The most unprofessional company I’ve ever dealt with. We put an application in on Saturday and toured with Chuck on Sunday. During the tour we told him we had the application in and that we have a dog and cat that will be with us. He said it would be a deposit for EACH and we said that was no problem. He ended the tour saying that we would hear from him Monday or Tuesday. I called on Tuesday since I hadn’t heard and they hadn’t even ran the application. I then called on Friday because we still hadn’t heard anything. I was then told that he hadn’t contacted the owner about our pets and that he knew they wouldn’t accept two. So he knew from the beginning but still didn’t even contact the owner or communicate with us.

Update: I have a different Google name than on my application. Also I agree that the owner has the last word but per your phone call earlier when denying us, you had not even contacted the owner. I am not upset at being denied but more upset with the the lack of communication from the beginning.

Spoke to a representative in the evening about a rental property they were managing. He said to call back the next day. My agent contacted him the next morning representing me and he informed her the property had already been rented. At being asked "when
and how it was rented already given my client talked to you last night?", he responded "I'm offended by your question." Seems like neither transparent nor scrupulous business practices.

Rented a sub par house in a wonderful neighborhood from them. Loved the neighbors. Should have taken them seriously when we first moved in and all the neighbors (some being previous tenants who bought in the area) told us to run as the property management was terrible.

Months on end things unfixed, though we communicated many times with them. They are quick to blame you, if you don’t practically harass them every day for a repair.

In the first peek of Covid, he ignored our wishes of keeping our home safe for our children and selves, to show the property. As we understand it needed to be showed, when people came to view the house; he let people touch all of the surfaces in our house. And wouldn’t ask them to sanitize, wear gloves, or masks. Very inconsiderate.

The move out was a joke. He entered our property without our consent (per the lease he is to give 24 hours notice) before our lease was up, knowing we had just moved out and hadn’t finished cleaning/repairs.

Don’t get me started on our security deposit. $150 to replace 2- $20 (for super fancy) toilet seats is a joke. Also, some of the things they paid for with our security deposit were things we noted in our move in inspection when we moved in. Yay.

This man and (ā€œrepair guyā€) his son are an absolute joke. He needs to bring back Debbie (if she’s still there, we haven’t been able to get in contact with her) who was a nice face for the company.

I have rented many houses. And I own and currently rent out some of the houses I own. And I would never, never, consider renting personally or my properties to this company. They are all about the profit knowing the area is in high demand. The houses are not well kept in the slightest.

Lastly; he’ll probably deny we actually rented from him. Just like the previous reviews that taint his sad name of a company.

If I could give zero stars I would. Went to Davis Realty yesterday morning inquiring about a rental property the sign on door said they were opened but if door was locked ring the bell. Which I did and stood outside for about 6 mins waiting when no one came to the door I called their office and a man answered the phone and I told him I was there about the rental and his question was when was you there we are in here. Then his tone changed screaming mam the place is not available to be shown. I will never do any business or refer anyone to this realty company. I came in inquiring about the property not for a showing. Which online it said the property would be available June 9th. If these realtors have a problem with customers asking about a property they are advertising online take it down until it’s ready to be shown then you don’t have to worry about people calling all the time inquiring about the property until it is ready to be shown and accepting applications.

Update: my review is true and I was never told about any qualifications of the property because I was told the property wasn’t ready to be shown that’s all. Nothing about tenants still living in the property nothing about the price of rental nothing. Trust me I know the definition of defamation I do have a bachelors degree in criminal justice.

Thanks to Jo Ann and Chuck for their outstanding and always professional help in managing and then selling my house. The two of them are a great team. Always on top of every situation, and kept me completely informed. It was a pleasure to do business with someone who knows how to take care of business. I'll keep their card on hand and if I know of any Air Force people moving to Langley, I'll pass it along with a strong recommendation.

If a renter be careful. You will not get your deposit back. You could leave the place pristine and they will find something to equal your deposit. We took the home uncleaned and with some stuff left in it. We were told there was no electricity so they couldn't do anything. Not new tenants responsibility to have electricity on, it should've been done by old tenants or them if they didn't check property before old tenants cut off power. I knew the old tenants and saw their depost which they properly got charged for cleaning but Davis didn't clean either so where did that money go? Just be careful. They're great while you're there but you will not get deposit back or very little of it from what I know as fact from tenant before us. At least they got a few hundred back. We got none and left the place immaculate. I guarantee they only had to get carpet cleaned when we left (we were okay with that). The things that took our entire depost were not worth it and I am sure they won't bother to "fix or replace" what they charged us for because it was so minor and not worth it.
