Do NOT rent from this management company. I been at my unit for over a year and all I’ve had is negative experiences from the landlord to maintenance. Good luck getting anyone to come out to your unit if something is broken. For example my building’s call box has been broken since I’ve been here and they refuse to do anything about it. Stay away from any property that this company manages.

VP Aaron Sinelkoff has allowed a tenant who lives on the 16th Ave building to harass, stalk, and break into other tenant’s apartments despite getting numerous complaints about this tenant. This landlord is not responsive to complaints about a dangerous situation they have been aware of for years. They also kept my security deposit past the 21 days allowed by California law.

Horrible experience with this management. Anytime I have ever submitted a maintenance request, I have to follow up with the property manager and practically beg for it to be addressed. IT took 2 months for the ugly lock box on my apartment to even be removed after I'd moved in. It took me repeatedly following up to receive acknowledgement that I will even be moving out. Repeated leaks in my apt, broken doorbell that has never been fixed. Would not recommend at all.

Going to leave a positive review here. I lived in a building managed by De Wolf and moved out last month. We received the full security deposit minus the last utility bill within 21 days. Communication with Maya at the leasing desk was fantastic, although the building manager named Aaron is a grumpy man who doesn't really do anything.

I was 1 year and 2 months at one of their properties and was a really good experience overall. Once I had a emergency in the apartment and they sent a person to fix it in a couple hours after I called. Also they provide online rent payment which is nice (it's 2019 and not every landlord provides this). I didn't have any problems with them and I was worried because of bad reviews here. Every time that I contact them through the web portal I received response. The move-out process was smooth.

I'm seeing all these terrible reviews about DeWolf Realty. I've been living in an apartment managed by DeWolf for years now, and I think the agency is great. On the rare occasions when I needed help, they were courteous and friendly and had someone come over immediately to handle the problem (whatever it was). They respect my privacy, leaving me alone except for those times when I needed them. I think they do great management!

High turner over in staff so nothing ever gets done. Last summer they gave our building a notice about a 6 week repair to a common area. It's been almost a year and the repairs were started, but never completed. Can't get the leasing agency to fix because no one is accountable when you inquire. They will raise your rent the maximum amount the city allows annually and will take multiple inquires for any in home repairs. Rent from them for location (they own several properties in SF) but don't expect anything from them other than a bill.

I figure people only leave reviews for their realty company when they're angry - so I'd like to add my positive experience. In the 3 years I've been living in a property managed by DeWolf it's been nothing but pleasant. They're responsive, friendly and so far I have had no issues with paying fees or rent increases or anything like that. I do recommend them.
