Dirty, dishonest company. Had many discussions with rebecca about missing the damage report(turned out to be my fault), but the place was a disaster when we moved in. Nicotine smoke on everything, makeup still on counters, dirt and grime.. clearly no cleaning had been done between tenants. Also, the upgrades that appeared to have been done very cheap. Being young and needing a place to live, I got to cleaning. By the time i was done, I realized I did not take photos.
When move-out rolled around, we realized we forgot to fill out the report because they told us they would bring it to us, then did not, then sent it a day later from an unrecognized email address. The employees that did this to us were let go, according to the 3rd employee we dealt with during our 1 year tenancy. This 3rd employee, rebecca, asked me to send photos of damage that existed at move in, and assured me they would work with us.
That was an absolute lie. As soon as she was an opportunity to take advantage of the working class person, she decided to claim the apartment was fully renovated before we moved in, using highly edited photos to back up her claim. These photos had the damages presented but blurred out, along with other enhancements.
After many phone calls, during which Rebecca offered to have us meet at their lawyers office in attempt to intimidate me, threatened to send us to collections 1 after having an outstanding balance for a single day after they decided to stop discussing a compromise on the charges.
This company will do everything they can do take your deposit and more if they can. Be smarter than me and take photos or document effectively if you decide to risk it and rent from them. This company doesn't deserve any extra money from their hardworking tenants, they have stolen enough. Slumlord scammers.

This is the ABSOLUTE BEST management company I've ever rented from, and I've been renting for over 30 years. They have excellent customer service; they respond to all communications promptly, and are courteous and professional in all their dealings.
The building I live in only had about 4 or 5 tenants, leaving about 6 or 7 units unrented. They have since filled the building almost to capacity. (I think there's still 1 vacant unit.) They are friendly, and willing to work with you if you run into problems, as we all tend to do from time to time.
The property owner has changed management companies again, and really disappointed to no longer have this company as the property manager. As soon as my lease expires, I'm going to rent from Deese again, and hopefully exclusively from then on.
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this company to either manage your property (if you want happy tenants) or to rent from.

Deese was very good to rent from. Always had maintenance taken care of by their great maintenance guys and had good communication from them about any other questions.
