I recently stayed in a cabin in Big Bear with my friends, and our experience was nothing short of amazing! From the moment we arrived, the cabin was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The kitchen was fully equipped, and the cozy living space made it easy for us to relax and enjoy our time together.
One of the highlights was the flexibility offered by the rental team. We requested a late checkout, and they were incredibly accommodating, which allowed us to savor our last moments in this beautiful destination without feeling rushed.
Big Bear itself is a stunning spot, full of activities and breathtaking scenery, making it a perfect getaway. I highly recommend this cabin rental to anyone looking to enjoy a fantastic stay in Big Bear. We can't wait to return!

Destination Big Bear hosted my baby shower and it turned out absolutely beautiful.
Everything from the planning to the breakdown was super smooth. Travis, the event space coordinator, was very accommodating and helped me with everything I needed.

On October, 12, 2024 we rented Destination Big Bear. We celebrated my daughter's quinceañera. Everything was more than perfect. From the beginning the staff specifically Travis, have been very friendly and professional. Best place in Big Bear to make beautiful memories.

This was our first time using Destination Big Bear. We had a truly amazing experience this Thanksgiving weekend!

When we arrived to check in to our booking, the road on both sides of the original home rental were blocked off. We circled around several times only to learn a power line had taken the power out for every home on that road, meaning even if we did get to the home, there would be no electricity and no heat in late November for an unknown period of time.

We have never booked with Destination Big Bear, and feared this random and unfortunate act would forfeit our reservation. We tried to wait about an hour to see if power could be restored to no avail, with it getting to closing time for the office. We were immediately helped by the hospitality managers at the front desk when we arrived, and after explaining our issue, they kindly allowed us to see if power could be restored, before we had to transfer our reservation. They have a 24-hour line we were able to use to quickly keep in touch during this issue.

After one more hour, and power still out on the North Shore, the hospitality managers quickly and efficiently transferred our reservation to a spectacular Vista Ridge Retreat. This home was more than we could ever have hoped for, and a huge sigh of relief after the difficulties of our travel that day. It carried all the amenities of our previous booking except a fire pit, which we quickly forgot due to the windy weather that week and the fantastic layout of this new reservation!

Our experience in this home was so peaceful, pleasant, and rejuvenating, that we hope to try again another year with the whole family, and perhaps stay through the holiday. The updated reservation was a Pet-Friendly home, so we’ll likely come back with our pet.

Beautiful cabin! My kids loved staying in here. It was very clean, as soon as we walked in we felt right at home with so much peace. We will definitely be back. It's closed to bigbear skiing mountain.

My friend and I stayed at a lovely little cabin on Butte Road hosted by Destination Big Bear for two nights. We loved the cabin- everything from amenities to location and quality of service. We got locked out (how embarrassing!) but Brent came to our rescue promptly and even salted our drive and walkway. If you’re looking to spend some quality time near Big Bear Lake/Resort, absolutely check out Destination Big Bear.

We stayed at the Tranquility Lodge property back in October and the overall experience was great! The house was amazing! Very quiet neighborhood and just beautiful all around. Clean, welcoming, and had a very homey feel. Plenty of space for everyone who stayed there. Heather provided wonderful customer service and was able to answer all of our questions about our stay.
My only recommendation would be for them to upgrade the mattresses, the beds were very uncomfortable to sleep in and didn’t allow for a good night’s rest. Even so, I would definitely come back for another stay, the place really is just beautiful.

I stayed at the Angels Lodge for 2 nights and 3 days, and this was such a wonderful home to experience time with family during the holidays. The house had everything we needed to stay warm and all kitchen supplies so we can stay fed. The house was very spacious and was able to fit 12 people with glorious views of the house design. I would definitely recommend and rent this out again for our next stay!
