Negative. Minus 5 stars if possible. HORRIBLE COMMUNICATION!! I am a homeowner who foolishly trusted Kinsey to manage my property. She fabricated approvals for expenses that came out of the clear blue sky and had her "accounting" department actually steal money from my income - not the property reserve, but my actual income. No courtesy of a "heads up" warning or even a simple explanation; elementary, professional courtesy is a mystery to this woman. After all, she has the "right" to "TAKE" anything under $500 from the property "reserve" without notifying the owner. omg. Really Not to mention, she considers herself too special, busy or "stressed" to respond to repeated texts, emails or phone calls from an owner who is desperate for information. Further, she is offended if you dare to express displeasure in being ignored. Truly unprofessional, immature and abhorrent behavior. Business must be so good she doesn't need mine, or yours for that matter. Who is Dezda Finn anyway Her company was highly recommended by my realtor yet she has never once reached out to me, despite my repeated distress signals. She clearly trusts the wrong people in her organization. I have always paid what I owe, but to be blindsided and treated as a commodity is unacceptable. This so called "property management company" sent would be tenants (some very questionable) to my home, unaccompanied on multiple occasions. Is she simply lazy As soon as she received her commission for getting my signed contract, she didn't care one iota about my property or a lasting relationship with me, the homeowner. I cut ties with these swindlers as soon as I realized their scam. Stay away. Far away.

We have leased our home from Dezda Finn Properties for over 4 years from out of state. Since day one Dezda and her staff have been professional, courteous and quick to respond to all inquiries. Their technology is top in the industry, easy to use, small repairs have been fixed immediately and we truly like the staff that has come to our house. You can't go wrong with this Team.
And it's worth mentioning, our Cane Corso, Bella, loves the staff too!!

If I could give Dezda negative stars I happily would. She and her staff are extremely rude to both owners and tenants. They made repair decisions without proper approval, then when questioned about other repair quotes they responded with loads of attitude only to admit I was right. At the end of our first 1 year contract we automatically went month-to-month with the intent of renewing a 1 year lease after a refinance. A couple of weeks later we decided to terminate our contract instead, with more than the 30 days required for notice to Dezda and staff. As the end of the last month approached, Dezda and staff fraudulently claimed to our tenants that they needed to sign a 1 year lease at our request. This is after several emails back and forth with Dezda confirming we were terminating and they would forward all documents and funds closing our account. We're fortunate our tenants contacted us directly to inform us of their actions trying to lock both of us into a lease. Dezda and Dagmar got aggressive with the tenants to sign but the they stood their ground. After I sent yet another email making it clear that we understood there would be no further lease or contract, Dezda claimed otherwise but in the end wanted to get the last word so she gave in and agreed the contract was done, 10 days early! Do not do business with Dezda. Also, Dezda made a snarky comment to my tenants who are part of the LGBTQ community and are legally married. She is just a despicable person inside and out.

I hired Dezda as my property manager in 2012 after moving out of state. About a year after the lease began, I received a call from a friend in the neighborhood informing me that my house was being destroyed by the current tenants. I got in touch with Dezda to find out what was going on at my house. Dezda assured me that my house was fine and our tenants were taking care of it.
A year later, two neighbors emailed me with very concerning news about my house. They informed me that my house was literally being destroyed; there were holes in the walls, three dogs using the bathroom inside the house and chewing the walls, carpets, and baseboards, the house was disgusting, etc. One neighbor reported 13 people were occupying the house as opposed to the couple and two children on the lease. I promptly got in touch with Dezda, and without even so much as checking on my property or preforming any other basic form of due diligence, Dezda immediately dismissed my concerns and told me that the emails were all "heresay" and "he said, she said. I told her to go inspect my house and take a lot of pictures. This is something she was supposed to do annually per our contract, but to this point she never did. Dezda inspected the house and told me that it was fine, just dirty, cluttered, and there were a lot of dishes on the counter. She sent three pictures of isolated areas, specifically a corner of a bedroom and a section of the dining room wall. It was clear that she didn't want to send many pictures, presumably, and later confirmed, because the house was in such a poor state that any more pictures would reveal just how bad it was.
Following this interaction, I told Dezda to evict the tenants. She aggressively defended the tenants and insisted that they stay in the house. Dezda said she cleared out all the people who were not on the lease, and that she straightened the tenants out and we wouldn't have any issues going forward. Like an idiot, I told Dezda that I trust her judgement and if she's vouching for them then it's fine, but make sure to actually inspect the house annually and keep me updated. She didn't.
The tenants moved out several years later, and I told Dezda that I intend to list the house with another realtor and sell it. She went into a panic and told my realtor (not me) that she had prepped me for what a disaster the house is. This was of course a lie. After my tenants vacated with unpaid rent and a year of unpaid utilities, my realtor performed an initial walk-through of the property on my behalf since I live overseas. The photos he sent revealed what Dezda had been hiding all along; the state of my house was truly appalling. There were holes in nearly every wall, the carpet and baseboards were chewed everywhere, the window trim, screens, and blinds were destroyed, the carpet throughout the whole house was tattered and the flooring underneath was saturated with feces and urine, multiple kitchen cabinets were destroyed, and the kitchen flooring was obliterated. The refrigerator somehow had the inside destroyed; it looked like someone climbed inside it and jumped in it. The built-in microwave had the door ripped off and a plastic bag in its place, and the oven looked like a grenade went off in it. The stair banister was destroyed, multiple doors were kicked in or otherwise damaged in a similar fashion. This is by no means the extent of the damage, but I'm sure you get the idea.
Dezda made no attempt to recover any money or fix the damage. Her narrative of the tenants changed, and she said they are difficult people and she would not pursue anything against them because "it would be like trying to get blood out of a turnip." If she did recover any money, it certainly did not make its way into my hands. She even had the nerve to keep their security deposit, allegedly to cover repair of a garage door the tenants destroyed during their occupancy. In the end, I hired a project manager to oversee the renovation and paid roughly forty thousand dollars out of pocket to return the house to livable condition.

I was a tenant who rented from Dezda for 2 years. I'd first like to clear up all the reviews on here that say she doesn't return deposits are false or missing context, I followed exactly what she asked on the moveout checklist and received $1552 of my $1600 deposit, everything but $47 (from a sewer bill I missed paying before account transfer) so completely justified. Dezda can be a bit short with her responses (reason for 4 star vs 5) but she does everything by the book and follows the law exactly, so again justified. There were yearly rent increases while I was renting from here which is annoying but again justified since the rental market was very hot and growing significantly during my time renting from her. So overall I'd recommend renting from her, follow the guidelines she provides and you'll have no issues.

I have known Dezda Finn both professionally and personally for nearly a decade. She was the owner of our management company for our rental on Freya. Not having been a landlord before I was keen to learn from her experience and she took care of every detail from maintenance to collection to screaming the renters to helping us have a successful move out.

Additionally I send folks to her when they need to find a rental property as well as send investment buyers to her for the management side of her business. She leads with her heart and follows up closely with her expertise. I would not hesitate to recommend her as a realtor to help you find the right home to buy; a landlord to have a management company that takes care of everything; or a renter who needs a good place to live. Dezda is a professional and she is always on the side of what is right!

I did before and after videos of move in and out showing showing exact same conditions yet they took nearly $2000 to clean this house! This place will scam you down to the penny. Stay away very very far away. Couldn’t get anything fixed when there and don’t want to show cleaning records. Which i guarantee is because it was already cleaned.

Wish I could give negative stars. Not only is Dezda and her staff rude, they also provide very poor service for landlords as well as renters. As renters we have had problems with Dezda from the start. To get your application in you have to bring it to the office. There is no drop box, and no email options. To bring it to the office you have to have an appointment which requires scheduling. They are only open during normal business hours which doesn’t work for a normal working individual. When we tried to set up an appointment they were non responsive. We finally had to go out of our way to get our applications in. As a renter this was close to making us change our mind about the property.
After about a month living there Dezda broke our lease by sending a maintenance man unannounced to our house. When we inquired about it (after he came into our house) she stated she had no clue who came into our house. Turns out the management company sent the maintenance guy to the wrong address. As a house full of girls we were not thrilled and Dezda was very rude about it.
A second time we had been discussing the maintenance guy coming in to fix something. I told them we had to be home for him to come in because I was unsure how our dog would act with a stranger in the house alone. They were impossible to schedule with and told us we’d need to take the day off work for him to come fix the issue because that’s what their schedule was. Then I noticed on my ring camera a man going into my home. I talked to dezda and was told they don’t know why he’s there. So a second time they sent maintenance into my house without my permission, which is a violation of our lease. As a female renter this made me feel unsafe and as a landlord I would not want a company working for me that held little to no regard to the lease, risking tenant move out.
Upon moving out after rent was raised 450$ in one year, Dezda claimed 500$ in cleaning fees stating that the company worked 10 HOURS to clean the place. Even if we left this 1700 sq ft. rental in horrible condition it wouldn’t take 10 hours to clean. I have photos of the condition it was left in, which was identical to how it was when we moved in. The cleaning total was an estimate no invoice was provided and the cleaning company doesn’t exist on Google.
Moral of the story is Dezda will not honor your lease, is deceitful in your move out inspection, rude and unprofessional.
As a military member I will be working with Fairchild’s housing office to bar any property managed by Dezda Finn. As a landlord I would recommend hiring ANYONE else, and as a renter I would suggest renting from ANYONE else. -5/10.
