My wife and I were introduced to Douville Home Group through a family member who had just purchased their first home in Tacoma earlier this year. As first-time buyers in an absurdly competitive market, making all our decisions remotely from Atlanta, we were knowingly entering a potentially nightmarish season. Thankfully, we had John and Catie.

I’m hesitant reading rave reviews about anything, since some can come off hyperbolic or insincere, but I’m unabashedly writing one now, because John and Catie were a perfect fit for us. Tacoma lifers with proven success in a competitive market, as well as experience building and renovating, they had an answer to every question - and I ask too many questions.

We felt completely at ease making decisions virtually with John’s transparent and direct approach. He struck the perfect balance of advising without pressuring and encouraging without sugar-coating. In the end, we passed on our first two considerations and closed on our first offer (in our preferred neighborhood, *and* with a full inspection), despite the highly competitive spring market.

We reached out to Douville Home Group last fall for help with our Tacoma home search. We were living on the east coast at the time. During our first trip out, John and Catie spent several hours educating us on the market and what to expect. John even took time on a Saturday to drive us around Tacoma, so we could learn more about each of the city's neighborhoods. It was helpful to see the city through a local's lens, and the tour gave us a good sense of how to focus our search. From that point on, John was always an email or phone call away and willing to help with everything from questions to virtual tours, and, ultimately, navigating a successful transaction from offer to closing.
