First off this company is the biggest crook. Very bad about telling the truth. They are only out for money. They will raise you rent every year and it’s no wherein the lease that tells you that. You find out on your own. They do not care if you are on disability and have a fixed income. They are sakes in the grass waiting to strike to get all they can from you. If something is their fault on a rent payment when there rent has been paid and they try to make you pay a fee because they claim they you had insufficient funds and a bank statement proves the money was there and they got it . Another thing is these apartments are government housing but the company still rips you off. Maintenance issue ridiculous because if you need something done whether it be life threatening or not it doesn’t get done. If it does, it will be when they want to do it. There’s problems with Santa, spiders, and roaches. They will have someone come for the roaches but they expect you to buy the chemicals for all other insects you have problems with. Beware of mold in the apartments that you have to take care of yourself. Another thing they don’t mention and you get accused of bringing it with you when you moved in. According to them the apartments never had had mold. Please DO NOT RENT from this company!

I would never suggest this company to anyone unless they are just desperate and need housing. If you rent from them, I would make it a temporary thing and continue to look elsewhere. All of the staff, including Property Managers, Regional Managers, Owners, Etc, think your integrity level is zero, regardless of any type of disability you may or may not have. Very short staffed. Maintenance issues are put off until last resort. And when the issues are addressed and worked, they do these jobs in a very poor CHEAP manner and the outcome is VERY POOR. Very very poor maintenance staffing. Same maintenance individual serves all the complexes DPKY owns. Their main office is located in Johnson City (Gray), TN. The ONLY, and I cannot stress ONLY thing they are QUICK and SPEEDY at, is DEPOSITING AND CASHING your monthly rent payments.

Not even sure where to start. This place is a JOKE! Everyone from regional down to the landlords are just dirty people. They will harrass you, make you pay bogus fees, and then if you are unwilling to let them push you around give you a non renewal for some other crazy reason they come up with. PLEASE research this company before you deal with them. They have complaints just like mine going back to 2007!! And own 14 properties through east TN. How they are still open is beyond me.

The lady that runs the Rockwood offices is so rude, every time I have went over there to check if they have an opening all she is doing is smokes and if you ask her a question she will get smart with you. She is nasty! Unwelcoming

On sight manager at Towncreek Village is great but this management company is not concerned about tenants wellbeing and has no regard to reasonable accommodations toward cancer patients needs.
