I spoke with Alan 2 days ago and he sent me a link to fill out an intake form for credit counseling. Today, a few hours ago I received a phone call, but I didn't receive a voice mail. My voice mail is set up. How come the lazy unknown person didn't leave a voice mail? I could not answer because I was on the metro train and it was very noisy on the bus, I may have not been able to hear the entire conversation so I decided to wait to see if i got a voice mail. I did not recognize the number, but I checked and it was ELACC. That person who did not leave a voice mail is inconsiderate and doesn't know good customer service.

Living in Boyle Heights you know ELACC. A staple in the community, a savior of bringing good to the people in our City. They provide housing and many needs for the college bound and the outreach is tremendous. My experience has been since the birth in Boyle Heights. Many in our community live in decent, clean housing !
Continue the good work.

ELCC is known for their uncanny support of civil rights and advocating the very essence of the belief on its core value.

The place was buzzing with visitors from all walks of life. In a face to face sitting, the efficiency and caliber of the counseles became so apparent and evident.

My proactive conversation with Emma, brought much new breath to the topic of homeownership and how one can easily rely on protective measures and given but overlooked civil rights.

The discussion of what lies in the civil right was so plainly expressed and exchanged that you wonder why this was not experinced earlier.

In all, with her and Stephanie, the coordinator, I tasted a bit of what transpires here. Nothing but good.

This place has the name community in it ! What community? There list are always closed ! Agencies like this start out good but it’s obvious if your not speaking Spanish to them they definitely make no effort to help you with finding housing! It’s almost as if they pre pick the people they want to place in their buildings ! Not to mention they cater to the family. Ones that have kids . If you’re single and looking for housing this is NOT the place !

No one answers the phone for the free tax preparation service. I have gone to the new offices they moved to on 1st street several times, weekday/weekend and the offices are closed and dark. I have done my taxes here for the past 3 years with Joel and I have also called his number, but it doesnt even ring. So, how does one make an appointment?

I called to get some information on the Home buying seminars being that they are in my city and I was looking forward to working with this organization but the woman who answered my call was very rude and gave me the worst attitude. It totally changed my mind about even wanting to finish a conversation with her much less work with this organization through a home purchase. No thanks, I'll take my business elsewhere.
