Went early on a Sunday afternoon with no reservation, and they were able to seat three of us at the bar. The vibe was really chill, and their sound system is amazing. Great playlist to enjoy a snack and drink to.
Their menu leans into Japanese style-cocktails. The Eavesdrop negroni was delightfully floral, and the spirit-forward Rye and Rice was delicious as well.
The eggplant dip was a really nice sharable snack.
One of my new favorite cocktail stops in the city!

Absolute 10/10 experience with an amazing atmosphere. A great roster of DJs, delicious bar bites, and out-of-this-world drinks. The sound system here is incredible!

Found the curly haired bartender in my picture to be really anal and rude. We came here on a Monday night for a birthday with around 15 people, it wasn’t packed or crowded and this guy came over multiple times demanding we sit with no real explanation of the policy, I assumed he worked there but also at one point there wasn’t even enough chairs for everyone to sit, some people tried cramming themselves trying to fit around the seats by the corner table.

When I went over to ask if it was the bar policy for everyone to be seated, he replied saying something along the lines of “you can stand and talk with one or two people but it can’t be a group” it didn’t make much sense and he had such an attitude in the way he spoke, multiple people in the group found him to be very rude. Our waiter on the other hand, the black dude with braids, was very polite and explained that the bar didn’t want us to treat it like a private party and he was just stuck between things… which is understandable to a degree and he was very nice about it but also it was a bunch of people hanging out at a bar that was not crowded on a Monday. You want us to be seated in these small seats the entire time we’re there?! We were also split into two different tables so naturally people went back and forth to talk and catch up, some of us haven’t seen each other in years.

At the end of the day, this is a service industry and there is polite way to speak to a group of people that don’t mean any harm. No reason for the bartender to go on a power trip and be a control freak. It just left a bitter aftertaste that I just wanted others to be aware of.

Such a cool little vibe in Greenpoint! Didn’t have a reservation but they were able to accommodate me and a friend at the bar. The craft cocktails are super complex and thoughtfully made and everything we ordered was delicious. Highly recommend the cold sesame noodles and the whipped eggplant appetizers. Those two along with the beef brisket bowl were plenty to share. Awesome atmosphere, knowledgeable bartender, great music, 🔟/🔟

Amazing listening bar with the best vibes. Live DJ spinning good vinyls and yummy drinks. They also serve food but not after 11pm. Would recommend making a reservation. We put out our name on a waiting list and it took about an hour but glad we went! Justin was fantastic. He made great espresso martini and was super friendly. Will be coming back🎶🍸

Very impeccable ambiance with great music selection and sound quality. Drinks are on the sweeter side and could be more well balanced, but the flavors are interesting

This place is SUCH a vibe! Met up with some girlfriends and had so much fun. The food is delicious, I highly recommend the E.F.R to drink and the cold sesame noodles (I’ve literally been thinking about those noodles for DAYS). I love it here so much. The service is amazing, the music is so good, and it truly is a living room experience. LOVE

What an incredible first time at Eavesdrop for our anniversary. Cocktails were excellent, food was delicious, but the vibe, sounds, conversation and tasty bonus sips from bartender (Gideon) made the evening above and beyond. Can't go wrong with anything on the menu, will hopefully be back soon!
